This week, Soundwave plays basketball, Trans5mers drops some monotones, and the off-topic section goes off-topic, so it's kinda like 2 short podcasts stuck together? That makes it sound positive, right?

    - Opening
    - Intro
    - Soundwave Just Wants to Dribble
    - Fresh Trans5mers Toy Shots
    - Listener Question from Riddler87
    - Listener Question from Bladeshadow

I completely agree about the movie toys, and I get what you mean about Wheelie. Less "different, but still cool" like TR Nautica or the movie dinobots, and more "so terrible it's great" like RID Legion windblade and her adorably garbage arms.

Also, Seth pretty much nailed my username origin. Blade Shadowslice was my Guild Wars assassin when I was 12. Now at 20, I go back and forth on if it falls on the dumb-fun or dumb-cringy side of purposefully edgy, but its definitely easy to remember.

Wait, are the colors we've seen of the new combiner and other figures we got pictures of the final colors? I figured it was stand in pictures off grey prototypes.

That's dissappointing, I really don't know what I'll be picking up from this line besides Megatron and maybe Scorn.

Thinking of Robot chicken mannerisms have you guys seen their version of storyboards? They're just a video of Seth green acting out the whole episode but all the mannerisms are there.

That's why I like Boarrior. None of your highfalutin tongue folding nonsense. He's a warrior man-boar and likes bashing stuff. Nuff-said. Yeah, he's "with" some group or something. Whatever. Bashing stuff.

Wow, another episode where Seth has unopened Transformers he can't be bothered to comment about, but then talks about off-topic stuff for an hour or more..... This is like the two hour inane commentary about Marvel Legends and Star Wars Black. This is getting so irritating. I do not care about "Legendary Warriors" or whatever other non-transforming figures. It's fine to talk about off topic stuff, and the on-topic/off-topic format works great. But for crying out loud.... Is this going to be like Titans Return Astrotrain that Seth just never bothers to open or comment on? I'd have been so much more interested in hearing Seth open Masterpiece Inferno on the podcast, and give his opinions then and there, than to wait a couple weeks when he's probably forgotten all about it and it's never mentioned again (like Titans Return Astrotrain). When there are only two hosts on an episode, all Transformers discussion is over, and there's still more than an hour of podcast left, I get a sick pit in my stomach that all conversation is about to get seriously tedious. Unless I'm google-searching every off-topic kickstarter action figure line you bring up, I have no idea what you're discussing and it's really annoying.

Vangelus and crew do this cool thing where the off-topic toys discussion is the last segment of the podcast - so if you're not interested, you can just stop there once they move to that topic.

The off-topic section is labeled off-topic for a reason, and I personally really enjoy it.

I like hearing other people's opinions on the news, and I obviously wouldn't be listening or sending questions to a Transformers podcast if I wasn't mainly interested in the Transformers content. But if the news was all I wanted, I can get that just by reading the main page. The discussions and wild tangents that branch off of that news are what makes the show entertaining, and the off-topic section has introduced me to toylines and shows I find really interesting, and might not know about otherwise.

Yes, I was the only one talking for a whole hour or more.

I would argue opening Inferno on mic would have been horrendous. Here are my thoughts as I open it; "It's a red fire tuck, now everyone wait as I try to figure out how to transform it for the first time with out look at the instructions. Enjoy listening to clicking of joints and me muttering to myself about how it works while Vangelus struggles to fill dead air all alone.

I did open Astrotain and decided to not talk about it because it had already been covered by that point and I think it's pretty boring. Here now is my TFW2005 podcast thread exclusive review. Robot mode is ok, shuttle mode is passable, train mode stinks. Over all I could have lived with out it. I don't really have anymore to say about it, so I didn't think it was worth bring up.

It's easier to open and cover Marvel/ Star Wars figures because they don't need as much time, they don't transform, I don't have to spend as much time with each one and if I have a whole wave to open my girlfriend will help me open them because opening stuff is fun. She doesn't care much about Transformers so she isn't interested in participating in that.

Legendary Warriors is something new and exciting. Also the Kickstarter had been going on with a new revile almost every day. It will be about a year before we get them so lucky you, talk on Legendary Warriors will probably be over for a while. Again, that one is all me, no one else.

If you do decide to do as the other suggest and just stop listening when we get to those parts feel free. You aren't going to hurt my feelings, at this point I would probably prefer it.

More importantly, did you find MP-10's gun in the backpack?

Hey, Seth, good morning to you, sir.

I want to apologize for my unnecessarily agro response earlier in this thread.

I've been listening to the podcast for years, and despite my angry rant above, you've always been great at entertaining me during long car rides or work days. For that I owe you gratitude, not criticism. Years ago, a joke you made about Transformers Prime was the first thing to ever make me laugh heartily while listening to a podcast. So thank you for that. I've enjoyed your presence on the show ever since. You even recommended the podcast, "You Look Nice Today", years ago, which became another favorite show of mine.

I won't try to make excuses for my agro rant above because, quite frankly, that kind of vitriol really isn't justifiable here. I was at work, and having a bad day, and I'd consumed far more cups of coffee than is healthy, so I when I got frustrated with what I was listening to, I took my frustration out here on the forums, rather than find some more constructive way to unwind. I'm sorry for that, and I'm sorry for being disrespectful.

I intend to keep listening to the show, because I still think WTF@TFW is the best damn Transformers podcast on the internet.

I do think you should voice your thoughts about on-topic toys, even when they've already been covered by others. Your own personal opinions and thoughts about the subject matter is always fascinating to listen to, even if toys like Astrotrain are themselves a bit bland. But that's just my opinion.

Anyways, thanks for your contributions to the show and to my listening pleasures over the years. I'm sorry I was such an ass.

Your post hit me at a bad moment too and I reacted more then I probably should have. But it's all good, water under the bridge
