When I said six I included Devy, since we already got him. And, to be honest, I can see Omega Supreme matching him nicely. I would almost bet 2018 will be omega Supreme.

The exchange rate and shipping is what kills us. I just heard that shipped MP Megs comes out to be 312. I mean, come on, it is basically a fancy voyager and since our voyagers are 30 bucks, that's a 100 percent markup? No thanks, not remotely worth it to me. That is a sweet score on a g1 Fort Max, wow!

I am an author and a teacher too, believe me, I know how painful it is to not see a paragraph. Actually, what is worth is when they give you a five page paper...that is ONE sentence. And, admittedly, I am often long winded,lol. My first book was 664 pages,lol.

Haha, how do you know they are bigger than a bridge each? here's what I would ask, scale wise, how does he compare to Menasor, Bruticus and Abominus? Whatever that is, that's what I want,lol. If we DID get a titan Predaking, since we have titan Devy, and since I figure Omega will be his size class nemesis, then I ask you, who would be Predaking's? I dunno, I would rather he match up my other combiners, but that's just me.

 

Guys, I'm curious...has there been pictures of Trypts and Metroplex together?

#2. I just watched the Masterpiece Megatron review and he is BY FAR a voyager a leader class size with diecast and heavy construction like TakaraTomy's Optimus was. I am looking forward to him I'm not sure where you got 310 I'll be able to get Starscream and Megatron masterpieces for under 310 shipped. It's 255 for the 2 thrn shipping is probably 30 to 35 bucks

#4^ In the comics the Predacon were big as a bridge and quite big on the Cybertronian bridge which barely held Trypticon. BUT I did hear rumors that we will be getting the Predacon amd Dinobots in Power of the Primes in 2018. Not sure how true it is  

 

So I'm not even going to pretend to be able to read Japanese, buuuuut, I think it was one of the hasbro reps at toy fair that mentioned that in order to get the budget right for this guy, hasui tore apart a fort max and used it to build the first prototype. From there they went to a foam model and so on and so forth.

 

Have we truly seen his final form yet?

In a serious answer to what was most likely a joking comment, that's just a stand.

The "prototype" there is just a cobbled-together mishmash of Fortress Maximus parts in order to gauge a rough scale for the figure. It couldn't free stand, hence the support rod.

 

I didn't feel it really warranted blue text... but, yeah.

I don't think so. Now that we Have Tryp to go with Metroplex, I'm pretty sure Takara will push Hasbro for Scorponok to go with Fortress Maximus. Omega Supreme may have a few fans in the US, but he's a relatively minor character next to Scorponok, especially in Japanese fiction.

 

LOL! It's just not the height but the overall size. Tryticon looks like Metroplex's pet in the magazine scan!

 

I thought Omega Supreme got second in the fan vote? And Doing Omega Supreme next would keep the pattern of alternating between Decepticon and Autobot.

 

I'm pretty sure they'll remold Tryp for Scorp. It's kinda easy to see in Tryp's base mode.

 

I'm hoping that if Scorpy is made, he will be as tall as Fort Max (old and new) but looking at how Trypt turn out...it looks like Scorpy will end up being shorter again.

This was an opportunity for HasTak to make all 4 city bots similar in height - which is the main attraction.

IMO HasTak really dropped the ball on Trypts. That being said I've pre-ordered him.

 

There's more chance of the FortMax/Metro mold being recannibalized than the Trypticon mold. Scorp's robot mode is humanoid and doesn't fit the dino anatomy. My guess is Hasbro will go for a new mold for Scorp but might reuse the Metro arms or future Omega Supreme parts. But that'll be 2019, it's too long away to bother guessing.

 

I watched the review too, I still say fancy voyager, but let's say Leader. That is still 60 bucks with a mark up. Admittedly, he is VERY involved and maybe some see it as worth it, but I look at it like this, that's the best part of 2 car payment for me. I got the price being Canadian dollars and fro Ages 3 and Up.

Haha, it does NOT pay well, but I keep the wolves from the doors. I love all the work that I do. Mobile always wreaks havoc with my spelling too.

Oh, admittedly, I am only semi familiar with the comics. Okay, so maybe there is a case for it then,lol. All voyagers like Devy was? Hmm, interesting rumor. I wonder how valid it is.

 

I hope you are right, but wasn't there something about that question being asked at Toy Fair and the Hasbro reps seemed to avoid an answer on Scorponok but leaned heavily toward Omega? Or am I dreaming that,lol?
