I still need to get them too, but Megatron was a priority, next will be Grapple for sure.

 

Looks like some good deals on eBay for the pair of them from China. I wonder if they're reckon it's reliable?

I've noticed a lot more from China lately. I was looking for TR Kickback a while ago and aside from one or two they were all from China. Pass, plus I don't want to wait over a month for my stuff.

Really liking Grapple and so glad that I went with MMC Inferno to pair with him. Having them being so close but two unique molds that them both stand out so much.

 

The Inferno/Grapple mold is one of my favourites in the Masterpiece line!

 

We absolutely must get a Hoist in the same vein!

 

I did the exact same setup and really enjoy the contrast of the official Grapple vs MMC Inferno. I think they compliment each other quite well, especially with the chrome pieces installed.

My Grapple just showed up today, I was fortunate to score one for a great price from Peaugh! My only concerns, since I haven't been keeping up with this thread, is there a trick to locking in the shoulders more securely? They seem to untab when manipulating the arms, not a huge deal but a constant adjustment. Also is there a trick to securing the "cannon hand"? Both the black and chrome options seem to barley stay on.. I'm going to try and future polish the inside a bit to help unless I'm missing something.

Absolutely. I'm going XTB Dante for Inferno but that pic by Flesh Creature really brings home the problem with having them both from almost identical moulds. They no longer look like two seperate characters but just two deco's of the same guy. That works with Seekers because they seem almost like clones of each other but I want a bit of differentiation in my GrappFerno.

 

I just received Grapple. The transformation is fun and the accessories are cool. However, the simple details of the bot mode is more apparent in hand, especially when I stand him next to FansToys Grinder and earlier Takara MPs. I didn't get Inferno for this reason. I am glad there are 3rd party choices for some figures.
