On one hand I'm like strike while the fire is hot, and on the other I get what you're saying. I simply wanted to get fans to send planet x a PM on like Facebook or something and simply be like 'hey loved omega and trypticon, may e sometime in the future you guys could finally give us a Foc style metroplex'

 

And to clear things up: I WASNT saying they should do another large robot this year. I was thinking maybe Q3-4 of 2018

 

I wasn't feeling the maketoys metroplex or its repaint, hence why I did the pick it up during the initial release.

 

While you kind of have a point planet x seems to be the type of company tht seem timid about taking on larger products. I believe they don't really have interest in doing a metroplex because they believe since there is a Titan class metro as well as a maketoys version there's no room for theirs. But neither of those versions follow that bulky FOC STYLE I WANT

 

Agreed. I would prefer them to tackle a FOC Bruticus. Don't get me wrong, I actually love my Microblaze Creations Bruticus, but I would also like to see one done by Planet-X

 

This would be kinda funny, actually, since their voyagers are on the large size. Their Bruticus would likely be taller than their Trypticon. Planet X problems hah.

 

I would be perfectly fine with that.

But yeah FoC Bruticus is probably something I'd really want.

 

I'd pay up to a G for that.

Planet X said it would have been easier for them to produce 4-5 characters instead of apocalypse... as much as I love Trypticon I would have liked Bruticus instead.

But then again we got alota Bruticus toys already

 

Bruticus would've been my preference as well.

For Bruticus the MBC002 Military Titans is nearly perfect. The look is spot on when used with the Hasbro deluxes. MBC002 isn't perfect... it's not as well made as Planet X, the hands are the worst thing I've ever seen, and because it relies on a lot of addon parts, it can be rather flimsy (but it's fine for a display piece).

The only reason to do a PlanetX Bruticus would be to integrate limb details and engineering onto Voyager-Sized limbs, around a leader sized Onslaught. Could be cool, and huge. But it would be mostly an achievement from a size / engineering perspective. From a look perspective, MBC002 nails it pretty perfectly for the combined form.

I'd rather them do Ironhide, Ratchet, Wheeljack, Hound and Soundwave, in that order.

 

WfC Megatron with spike accessories to make him look like FoC Megatron. Best of both worlds. I need this to round out my collection
