The real question is would she be ok with a decorative lamp at that price that she likes. A statement piece for the house that her friends would say " I want one of those". If the answer is yes, then You have your argument. Haha.

 

i now have this beast on pre order , went with figure station as they are cheaper than everyone by far cost me $627.74 /£523.36 thats including shipping and the $26.99
paypal handling fee they charge .... bank transfer would make it just over $600 and under £500 if you don't mind not having the paypal cover , even if i get hit by customs it will work out cheaper than everyone

I don't think he meant that. The Unicron itself is way overdone. I was sorta interested to keep tabs on it but that's too attempted detail.

 

Eh, Tomatoes and Chainsaws. I personally think it looks gorgeous. And pretty screen accurate too. It's not overdone. He can't be as smooth looking as The rodimus because HE'S A FUCKING PLANET! The lines and digits and cracks are all well done. If the same were done to a normal sized transformer then I could understand. But he's the biggest there is. Now if they could make me one that's of the Armada Unicron I'd throw my crying wallet at their faces in a HEARTBEAT!

 

my problem isn't the fact he has lines, but the fact they aren't done well. The sculpt is cool, but the paint job is amateur at best.

 

The Rodimus looks to be painted much better actually.

unicron's paint just doesn't look good. It's not even so much the panel lining that is drawing my attention, but the shading at the panel edges. The shading is way too obvious and looks sloppy. The color gradation needs to be much smoother, with a more gradual darkening towards the edges/panel lines.

I love it when I learn random stuff reading these boards. I wouldn't have been able to say why Unicron looked "off". Now it's been pointed out, it looks glaringly obvious.

I wanted this statue but I didn't have space nor money. Now I'm not as sad that I won't be getting it.

canceled my figure station order as they wanted to charge me more money to get it shipped to me and the added fact they look like their parcels are custom magnets , went with loontoys on ebay instead who i have bought stuff from already and i know if anything goes wrong they will sort it unlike figure station who even say in the email after ordering they would not help if something goes wrong during shipping
