Getting all these minibots is great. Not sure about you guys, but I like the size variety that the minibots provide in my display. Makes it more interesting for sure..

Too many same sized car bots and seeker overload gets boring. The minibots, insecticons, Casettes, and reflectors really add some variety to my display...

Based on how they responded to people who disliked it on FB I'd say they're still going to release it as it. On the other hand seeing how there hasn't been any new news since the poll here showed that a very slight margin of people here said they preferred the old slant cabI'd be pleasantly surprised with a new realistic slant cab vehicle. A Cubex Huff re-release would've been a sure win for them and I think they were counting on the that same attitude with their redesign. The mostly 51/49% numbers on the poll may have convinced them otherwise and with so many people saying that they were waiting for reviews instead of PO it hopefully spooked them enough to make changes.

Interesting. Personally I vastly prefer the realistic truck mode on V2 Huff so hope they keep him as is. But I think V2 Pipes needs major revisions to his bulky backpack so him I want to go back to the drawing board. I doubt they'll redesign Pipes and leave Huff alone though so it's a bit of a mystery.

Yeah, I prefer the "realistic" vehicle mode since the official stuff has also stuck to that, so it does work well with the TT stuff aesthetically.

    True, but the cars are.

The other not-Fusos also tend to replicate the weird "obvious arms in alt mode" look, besides the MMC ones

    Details!

Also, has there ever been any talk of a Brawny reissue? Would totally get him, too.

    Yes.

And with some minor tweaks/color variation I think.

Originally people said he was a little too yellow/lemon-y, and wanted more of a burnt-orange for his torso. So we'll see I supposium.

Interesting.... he definitely had a more toy/real world green as well. I wonder if they would do screen accurate green.

Actually they are accurate, at least in part. Ignoring the duplo back of course, they are provided with both realistic front ends and simplified cartoon ones. It's actually a clever way to deal with the dichotomy between toon and realism. It doesn't appeal to me all that much (I'm waiting on Dante) but the Fuso front-end of both IS realistic enough to be properly licenced. And the back end of the Fuso work truck is 100% customisable so there isn't really a truly "accurate" rear end to go off ( I know that's grasping at straws a little and as I said, I much prefer the highly detailed look of Dante) but it's simply untrue to dismiss Takara's Fuso trucks as not realistic.

Anyone still looking for an original Huff? I found a MISB one I bought a while ago. (Just sold my Brawny and Outback I found).

Probably best to sell him quick before the V2 comes out.. No idea if ppl will want the newer version or old.. But given v1 seems to have had some issues, if it were me, I'd probably throw him up on eBay or just keep him and enjoy him..

All depends if BadCube keeps the flat box cab they showed or if they go back to the Cubex slant cab that a lot of people want.

Bought it again this week... Ouch, what was I thinking? Looks good, but quality is crap... Rear window keeps falling off, chest plate won't stay closed in truck mode, several loose joints, crunchy hip joints... :/
