So today I find myself in a situation I did not ever think possible... ...I have a "spare" Combiner Wars Devastator set. Mint, sealed, blah blah- you know the score; box large enough for homeless people to sleep in, containing a Constructicornucopia of Voyager Class awesome. (Ok, so Hasbro didn't think they deserved guns- lame, but I forgive them. They *did* decide to make a Dev that can give Metroplex a wedgie). I could probably sell this box of funkiness to some one for the green paper my landlord likes so much he lets me sleep here; ok, I probably should do that. But I am at least mildly insane (it's a plastic robot toy based neurosis) and therefore would way rather trade said box for other boxes! As for what I would like thrown at me by whomever has a Dev-shaped hole in their life... Hmm. Randomly thrown together list of things I don't have yet- I choose you! * Willing to trade Dev and ? (Money? Jokes? Would offer sexual favors, but disappointment would be likely) for one (1) Year of Snake Omega Supreme. Please? Hoping someone out there is looking at two omega Supremes and wondering what they should be fighting. ...are you my trade soul mate? Either way, promise never to use the term "trade soul mate" again unless I somehow become a necromancer. * Defensor. Victorion. Computron. I have none of these things and twice the Dev I need; wassup witdat?! * Would also trade big box of Constructicon for some combination of other funky stuff; I am currently rocking 0% of my daily dose of Sky Lynx (CW, Voyager, somehow less bipolar than most people) for instance. Powermaster Optimus? Sixshot? I'm still shamefully short a generations 30th Jetfire even. * Now that I know Masterpiece Edition Golden Gun Megs is a thing, I kinda need to play with it. Also, as a long time Shockwave mark (who has only Legends Class Shockwave to his name) I pine for a Quakewave. * If you are the nice people at Perfect Effect (or just a stockholder... Or the kinda person who keeps a stash of these things), will trade a Dev for Dev upgrade kits + g1 Bruticus kit (or I guess dev kits plus menasor g2 kit; tbh, Menasor is rad but Bruticus is my homeboy). Not sure if trading a set for the upgrades for said set is confusing enough logic to be in this post; your mileage may vary. * NOTE: If you're more the artistic type, come over and paint my Dev all cel shaded pretty and you can both have my spare and at least four platonic hugs. -B.
Oh yeah, forgot to add- hit me back about this ASAP if you're either wanting a box of Dev or determined to sell/trade me stuff on me list of stuff I need to make the voices in my head tell me to stop buying chunks of eBay. Good and bad news regarding our titanic green friend: as it stands, I'm about 75ish percent sure an old friend (my old high school TF nerd homeboy) is buying him straight up from me tomorrow. I give a 25% fail rate here because he lives with his girlfriend; quite conceivable that instead of delivering a Dev to my old pal, I'll be awkwardly returning home with him while they have a fight that is made entirely out of first world problems. Kinda funny that all that could come from a box of toys made in the third world. Wocka, wocka. Stay tuned for further updates regarding the green giant under my bed. He's probably gonna get to live in the French quarter now, so theoretically you can envy both its new owner and the toy itself if you're into it.
