I hope that somebody at some point decides to use one of the heads for a proper Black Convoy / Scourge instead of Grand Scourge. I sort of wish FP had stuck with it, but at least we get Toxitron.

I'd guess that, after Baldigus and the TFCC guys, the combiner line will be essentially over and done with.

Oh, and in terms of alternate heads, don't forget the Onslaught/Demolishor head!!!

Were there ever alternative heads made for the Hot Spot / Cyclonus voyager retools?

We don't know. Never seen anything close to official. Conjecture would be Inferno (referenced in one of the FunPub stories as the torso for Project: Firestormer) and something Seeker-y (there was a rumor of a Seeker combiner not long after we saw Superion/Menasor at SDCC and there are plenty of customs that show off how easily the Cyclonus torso can be King Starscream). I would not bet any money on either of those. Maybe some trophy points

Hot Spot has Pyra Magna, who got a few additional changes along with it. Similar to Jumpstart, Dustup, and the helicopter twins.

Knowing there was a Deluxe Seeker head already out there, I have to assume King Starscream and Firestormer were both in the cards as boxed sets/waves and then later shifted out of the line in favor of a different direction.

Likewise with the Thrust and Demolishor heads...I have to wonder if someone was also considering an Armada themed combiner which never saw the light of day.

It's really a shame, since one of my favorite parts of CW were the *new* combiners. They didn't got far enough in that direction for my liking.

    Toxitron is a FunPub head.

    Cyclonus is the (Silverbolt) retool.

They haven't used Inferno Hotspot, Demolisher Onslaught, and all those others if you count the one
Those are indeed the extra heads for those two Voyagers.

Toxitron is a pre-existing Hasbro / Takara head, not a Fun Pub head.

Like Silverbolt and Scattershot, there is a Starscream / Seeker head for Cyclonus.

I'm fairly certain they said at Botcon it wasn't. I'm just going off of my, sometimes fuzzy, memory of the panel.

Is it confirmed that Wreckage will use the Ultra Prime/Maximus head? Because it's on the Motormaster body...so that'd be an odd flip.

Well, that's the head that's used in the comic art, at least...

Good idea. I posted all of the spoilers in a new thread in a second post (I screwed that up once before) but the information always migrates. Have fun with the figures when they arrive!

Nope, that's not the case. It's the alternate head for Motormaster like Battle Core Optimus is for the normal blue and red version. They said as much at the convention.

That's what their intention was. I helped them test if the Optimus Maximus head would fit on the Menasor peg.

    First figures arriving are reportedly
    Fractyl and Lifeline.

That's like the most unlikely guess I'd have made (Lifeline + CP would have been the last possible guess I'd have made). Seems like we'll be getting big boxes in April and May. I'm also now thinking we'll both pretenders packed together . . .

Thanks for the correction then. So there's one FP head (OP) this batch then? That's outside the norm. Wonder if that was an intended reuse for Swerve too.

Pretender Optimus has a new head yes. Fun Pub financed that one. Pete showed it off in one of those podcasts (since they commissioned its creation).

So stupid question here, did you receive an email saying the first batch shipped or is there something on the TFSS account page that I'm missing that tells you your order status?
