one of the reasons it'd cost so much in the first place is shipping, I'd say over the 5 years I've been collecting Transformers for, about 40% of the total amount of money I've spent on 'em has been shipping. that is speaking hypothetically If I wanted this set(which I don't really)
Ah, fair enough! As I open these sets anyway i'd ask them to just remove the box and ship them in a smaller way if shipping was so high, that usually helps. As you say though, if you're not really wanting them it's a moot point anyway
Y'know, seeing the in-hand pics of the figures, I think I actually want this set now. Quickswitch really grew on me and I like it just as much as, if not more than Sixshot. However, the helmet not being remolded is a bummer. Laser Prime, unfortunately, I started to dislike more because of how shockingly bright the blue plastic on him is. Nautica and Fastlaneclash look great. I'm really looking forward to any future sets
I wanna sell Laser OP, but I also really wanna keep him. Like, so badly. But then I'd have to start a G2 CHUG collection and that means buying the G2 Superion and Bruticus sets and wowwwie that is a big commitment But on the other hand it's a frigging triple changing LASER ROD OPTIMUS WITH A FLAMETHROWER STICKER
99 bucks sounds like a great bargain. A Leader\'s about 80 dollars, a Voyager\'s 50 and a Deluxe is 30. Throw in a Scout for 15 and a Titan Master for 10, that\'ll normally cost you (in Australia, at least) 175 bucks in retail.
Seibertron has had a full pictoral view up for awhile now. Quickswitch doesn't even have a new helmet as advertised. Not that he was really any good anyway, but it's a shame they feel the need to false advertise all the time.
It comes out to be more like 130 Australian dollars. So still a better deal than the alternative, but how many characters from the set do most people actually want?
