I think the figure looks terrific, and I am really looking forward to getting him.

A word of advice that I am sure has been shared before - for those that want him it will be important to get the Takara version. Whereas in the past we could sometimes count on a Hasbro release of an MP (Rodimus, Optimus, Starscream, Soundwave, Bumblebee, Datsuns, etc.), it's highly unlikely that Megatron would see a US release given the restrictions on gun toys. I do remember that when MP-5 Megatron first came out he was everywhere because Megatron is a popular character, and there were issues at that time with orange plugs, etc. However, given that we are unlikely to see a Hasbro USA version of this new MP Megatron, people should plan to order him from an online retailer/importer. He could become scarce at some point, and the after market prices could get pretty high. Take a look at the after-market prices on MP Rodimus as an example. The Takara version was the only one with his trailer, and while it initially retailed for $200, boxed samples now can go for $400+.

I don't think it is rocket science to have expected that we would receive a Megatron in the new MP scale size, so in that sense it's not unusual that we are getting a new MP Megatron. However, the info that we have seen suggests a well thought out figure with plenty of details for fans. I have my fingers crossed, and am hopeful that the figure will meet the high anticipation.

 

Yeah, I definitely want 10 pages of dudes begging another dude to post more pics and videos. That's what I look for when I come to TFW. I would love for @MachineHeart88 to post more as well but I also come on here to have a discussion.

 

I want to see if @MachineHeart88 can give us pics from megs doing these poses.

Discussion about 3rd party Megatrons in the thread about an in-hand video of MP-36?

Maybe if from the beginning people had been supportive of the OP and requested some photos we would have had a very different thread.

Instead, a good handful of people were dicks to him while a lot of people just spent their time trying to convince other people of their own opinions.

A great example of the low level these forums and particularly MP threads have sunk to. It seems that the most vocal group on here are people who just want to spend their time arguing with other people on the internet.

Didn't this place use to be fun?
