Pretty sure Scourge's design popped up in one issue of the original mini series. Colors were different though. Soundwave is new though.

LOL on the giant gramophone. Pretty cool concept with the rail-chariot casettes though. I always wondered why Squawkbox of all people was in HoS but not Soundwave.
Scourge being an airship did bother me, considering how we saw these guys fly on their own in pteranodon form in the past, why would they downgrade to such an inefficient design. Then again, not much of HoS made sense ever.

Eh, I figure TFs don't have the same limits of the alt modes they've chosen, they just LOOK like them, not limited like them.

That being said, I find it hilarious picturing a big ass balloon flying thru space.

Couldn't have said this better myself. Really wish MMC, or anyone, would make more of these into toys :(  I was really looking forward to the Insecitrain these teased all those years ago.
Scourge is a really cool design; Soundwave is just not hitting it for me. Glad these were shared.

I just like the idea of how Auto-Scout would look.

Now I'll hear the Vengaboys "We Like To Party" every time I look at Soundwave.

This. The first couple of trains were interesting. Now it's getting a little tired, and I keep imagining all the Transformers having to chug along in a single file line everywhere they go. That'll be fun for the bots with complainer personalities.

    LOL, "Everyone's the same!"

Except Megatron. And Shockwave. And uh, the Seekers. And now Scourge...

I agree with both of the guys I quoted above. Your (MMC's) Hearts of Steel, Shockwave is what brought you guys to the forefront. I never did get to transform or hold any of them, but I own the comic mini-series, and I ALWAYS supported the cause. (Unfortunately a.t.t. I was living with my step mom and she was already stashing the toys I bought into our storage unit left and right because "No buying toys and bringing them into my house!" Was her rule. Even the stuff I had hidden she'd find. And it's only since 2015 when I learned she actually KEPT them all for me, as I just got everything back finally at that time, I had previously thought she was throwing some away or selling them)

I actually went to buy Shockwave in January finally but low & behold, he is sold out alas. Even.the 3rd production cycles (I think it was 3 right?) I think if MMC released a Soundwave, Insectitrains set, and possibly a Scourge in the future it be really cool to get a limited re release of Optimus Prime in his darker red colors with the updated mold. (I personally want Shockwave too, but im guessing MMC can't guarantee that Shock would sell. Optimus however WOULD sell fosur!)

Any chance of any of that ever happening? Either re release of old molds or new molds entirely? :)

    Oh yea FO'SUR!

That's nice that she at least kept them. Most would just throw them away I think.
Also, I got MMC's Shockwave as a graduation present a few years ago and it is amazing! His transformation is a bit finicky and his hip joints are looser than a hooker, but he's just so awesome that those are only minor complaints. Plus the little mini-sub mini-me he comes with is fun to mess around with.
And I'd love for them to re-release their Optimus with the fixed version of the mold. The Nemesis Prime colors just don't work for me on it.

I wish MMC will have space for this new projects (if they will even consider) and still cope up with their current teaser projects.

Oh so they HAVEN'T released an correct color Optimus Prime SteamPunk Train with the fixed tooling, then? Hmmm maybe they will do it they released a purple version somewhere between late 2015 and and late 2016. So im sure we show them we want it enough they release it if it's not a problem or hassle for them.

I only saw the Shockwave with tight hips im. Sorry that later releases had looser hip problems. He had ratchet arms I believe but only swivel hips. I only held in once amd nevrr got to transform him (Unfortunately). :/
