I'm the only one who likes the newer style, maybe? I like both modes regardless, but the older mold is hard to find. Haven't found anyone selling the old version of Huff. :(

Nah, plenty of people like the old, and plenty like the new. I like both, but much prefer the new because I feel it fits in better with my preferences.

There is a thread with people discussing that somewhere here with a poll and whatnot.

The preference is pretty much split down the middle. I started a poll regarding the subject (not sure how to insert link). Honestly both designs and are nicer than Takara's offering for Huffer

Does anyone else think the all quiet on Badcube's part is because they are retooling Huff? Usually they are pretty "vocal" on facebook with pictures and posts.

Interesting thought. Maybe they're trying to bring it more in line with their original lost Cubex Huff mold.

...i'm pretty satisfied with the new huffer design, but pipes' backpack could use some significant compaction...

Maybe it's just me but this doesn't seem any different from Gears/Swerve. I know that many people are not happy, me included, but I don't get the sense that really matters any more. They have their design and are moving forward with it. I'm not buying these but at this point I certainly don't see them going back to the drawing board. I think they are going for a more real world vehicle look, even though it's not, and there actually is a real world truck to match the original Cubex version. If this was the original design, take my money. Since its not, I am keeping my XTB versions.

Yeah, as much as I'm in for these guys, I've got to admit that Piper's backpack looks pretty bad from some angles. It looks like compacting it would necessitate a complete redesign of the cab, unfortunately.

It really shouldnt have required a redesign though. They already incorporated a compacting gimmick into Huffers design. If they'd done their job properly they should have used a similar gimmick for Pipes. I get that Huffers backpack compacts vertically while Pipes needs to compact horizontally but still ...

Yeah, that's a good point. They could have easily given Piper a collapsing backpack from the start. These are the people who designed Wardog, after all.

Did anyone else catch their facebook post and what's the deal with the white Toyota truck? I get Huffer and Pipes and Brawny, but I'm slow on the uptake with their cryptic photo

I think it was less about the actual vehicles in the photo and more about the pun. It was a pic of multiple trucks and they said it's "turning into a convoy". My guess is they're hinting at making a Prime (Convoy, get it?).

As far as I know, no where because Badcube hasn't finished the product and pricing I'm sure hasn't been sent to sellers.

Looking forward to both of these when the pre-orders come up.
Hoping from a Badcube build with diecast and ratchets this go around.

I'll probably be organizing something via my Rub deals for when these drop. Pricing is expected to be somewhere between grump/Slick pricing and brawny.

I like the backpack, gives him some serious character. That's just how some figures were. And I'm glad BC isn't afraid to do it.
