Shipped mine with my MP-33 from A-E, so I finally have him in hand. Have to be honest, I'm a little older and the entire Beast Wars thing is silly to me. Watching some of the episodes on YouTube only reaffirms that perspective, but there's no denying that this figure is excellent. Hoping they finish the G1 cast before going too far down the BW character list, but glad I picked this guy up.

Thanks for supporting BW MPs by buying one, glad you like it. It's cool that someone who finds it silly is willing to give it a go.

I may try the oversized version by Wei Jiang with the updated elbows.

I'm sure this has been asked, but I couldn't find an answer: Has there been ANY talk yet of releasing this stateside?

well the last US MP release was Bumblebee, years late at more than he was sold at after import prices.
I really wouldn't hold my breath on ANY MPs being released in the states EVER at this point. Importing or buying an import stateside is pretty much your only choice now.I have not heard any rumblings of anything being released stateside at all of late, certainly not something recent.

Things could change, of course, but the serious question has to be, why wait?

Around here they disappear quickly too, and then the only place you see them at are toy shows. Funny how that works.

Yup, toys r us are taking the MPs releasing them years after Takara at higher prices than an import and then telling us there is no market for MP in USA.

I'm sure usa MP is, if not dead already, pretty much ready to go in the ground

High pricing yes, because there's all sorts of licensing screwiness in the US, plus that's TRU being TRU.

But I have a feeling that any quality disparity you're talking about is either you talking out of your ass, or a regular old QC defect that could happen to anybody, because Hasbro toys are made in the same factory as Takara toys, using the same toolings and materials. Especially on the Masterpiece figures, the final product should be nigh-on identical.

Sorry if it has been mentioned already, but I just got this figure 2 days ago, I've skimmed the thread and can only find speculation on the subject. Would anyone happen to know what the hole is for in the figures left forearm?

I saw that after I posted since I posted when I was on page 50 or so of the thread LOL.

Is that what it is actually for though? I mean a fan made communicator is cool and all but was that really the intention?

Honestly, I'd prefer just some kind of matching cover to get rid of the hole.

A communicator is the only thing that was even on that arm in the show so it's logical to assume it was a planned accessory at some point
