Those are, like, wave 5 or 6, and wave 2 is just starting to hit this year. It'll be a while...

 

Misfire should be coming up soon, he's in the next wave. Slugslinger will be some time after him. We never really know definite dates.

Super excited for Misfire. I still have my G1 version I got as a kid and he's one of my all time favorites. Cool alt-mode, cool robot mode and probably one of the most poseable G1 toys ever.

I'm a little confused as to why the TR version has a purple/pink head instead of a black one like the orginal toy. It needs to be black. Otherwise there's just too much purple/pink on the guy IMHO.

 

Got TR Triggerhappy last week and I like him a lot so I think I'll get Mis and Slug just to finish the set....

 

I'm in the same boat as Cyberrabbits. I only just managed to find Triggerhappy and I am completely enthralled with him, so Misfire's oing to be a definite pick up for me. Can't argue with pink!

 

these are TR Wave 5 and 6, which = 2017 wave 3 and 4  

 

The head will be black..

 

Specifically, Misfire is in wave 5 alongside Windblade and Twintwist, whereas Slugslinger is (presumably) in wave 6.

 

I may have to order these guys online....can't seem to find any TR at my local stores.....Toys R Us has nothing RiD bot charges and the mini-con stuff.....

Still trying to find TR Sky Shadow but online looks like my best bet....hoping to still get both Mos and Slug.

 

Assuming you are in the US, Sky Shadow JUST had his first retail sighting in the last 24 hours -- Six Shot hasn't even remotely hit saturation and these two are probably anywhere from 1-4 months away (wave 4 Deluxes haven't even officially gone up for pre-order anywhere in the domestic US despite their Walgreens appearances have they)

 

I believe this has already been commented upon, but these guys' torsos are flipped 180 vs Triggerhappy right? These guys are cool but I thought half the reason Triggerhappy was so lauded was the rotation step in his torso.

I kind of want the Siege on Cybertron set, but the debate between Metalhawk and Slugslinger is giving me pause.

 

I can't work out how Misfire and Slugslinger can have robot chests that isn't shown on their vehicle modes where Triggerhappy has a cockpit chest.

I assume as MOW says, there isn't a rotation step, so that the back of Triggerhappy becomes the chest of Misfire and Slugslinger with a hinge so that the front of the jet simply folds back onto the middle of the jet which would have been Triggerhappy's chest.

Since they remain accurate to their G1 selves, I'm fine with the slight simplification.

 

They most likely got their whole upper half modified, so they don't have cockpit chests.

 

...And considering what time of year it is again - (yep, movie time ) - and what's likely to be clogging the store pegs you might be better off..
