Lol I have no idea dood. He'll be out when he's out. I dunno why anyone places any faith at all in any supposed release windows for mmc stuff being reliably accurate. It neeeeever ever is. :lol

That said I can't imagine he won't be out by like June. Surely he'll be in hands by then cause goodness me if he isn't. haha

Count me as someone that wants a legit Nautica. That brainstorm repaint makes me weep.

I know nothing about Nautica, but I'm all for a new fembot that isn't Blurr with fans, and that isn't a Headmaster as well.

So I know they look rather different, but the bow makes me have to ask-is there any chance that he could come with an alternate head? Because if he had one with a faceplate, one reminiscent of Atomizer, this would instantly be a purchase for me.

An Atomizer head would be righteous.

That would make atomizer too small though, right?

    He's super tall IIRC

He's about the same height as Blaster.

Which is still a little taller than Rodimus I think.

Eh he might be a lil small but I'm not sure how much money I'd spend on an Atomizer to begin with. A free pack in head or add on kit might be as far as I'm willing to go.

Pic is from near the endish of the MTMTE run. Makes him shorter than Blaster and Hoist, but taller than Bluestreak. I'd take that. But yeah, as a pack in with the Rodimus toy, not separate.

Shit. I'll take a retooled Atomizer and Getaway.

This mold seems a pretty good fit for them. Finally a remold that isn't hot doo-doo :/

Calidus mold has a solid two piece head (back and front) so its not a matter of just asking for a new face or a face attachment or whatever you'd need an entirely new head sculpt for any potential additions to existing versions of the mold. So only way we could do a nod to Atomizer is making an Atomizer head to replace Calidus' regular, but I... don't really see the point of that given its still Calidus' body which is clearly Rodimus and not Atomizer. Would be a kind of odd way to represent that character imo. I mean Calidus is all curvy and rounded like Rod is, Atomizer is blocky and more hard edged. So I'm not really seeing the visual similarity beyond their color palettes and the fact they both have pointy ear heads.

That and the mold and its accessories are locked in, no further additions or changes are possible right now. But hey maybe some other release could include an Atomizer head at some stage if people want that.

I'm really excited for this piece, but I am very wary of its articulation...anyone know if the shoulders are hindered like the Lockdown/Deaths Head/Cyclonus mold was? I think that could be a deal breaker for me considering how bad they were.

I'm waiting to find out for myself what exactly needs to be done to get them to bypass the back wings. By default due to where they sit and their shape they can go much further forward without being obstructed but I am hoping the double hinges allow them to do a full unhindered 360 motion.

I have seen that pic and it raises more questions than it answers to me. I love MMC. I can't wait for this and their Megatron. I got Jaegertron, and was completely astonished how bad his shoulders were, and how fidly that transformation was. It looks great, except for not being able to handle the weapons well, but that mold is just uncharacteristically bad. I have Feral Rex, Hexatron, Carnifex, Spartan, and their Elita One. I love each one of those figures, and they are the pride of my collection, but Jaegertron really shook my faith in the company. Here's hoping this is the super poseable, dynamic, solid figure I have been wanting for years to fill the gap for Rodimus in my CHUG collection.

Thanks for your input LazyAza, and if you get your hands on it, please feel free to share your observations regarding this issue.
