Srsl? Nobody mentioned the five faces at the end? Pottential TF5 Quintessons?

 

Be nice if RID01 or the Unicron Trilogy got as much love as the rest of the franchise in these games...

 

The involvement of the Quintessons in the origins of the Transformers in the Movieverse was confirmed by Lorenzo during an interview released December.

 

Rhinox's beast mode does look quite.... strange. like he has a bunch of open wounds. reminds me of the 'dino damage' gimmick from the JP figures.

so far he's the only BW character in the game. the game has been out in certain countries since January, but he was just added as a playable character last week.

They said in an earlier interview that they'd be including characters from all eras. The Marvel game this is modeled after has over 100 characters to choose from. So you'll get your UT and RID. They just aren't blowing their entire load at launch. They'll spread character releases out over time.

And what do you mean, "the rest of the franchise"? So far, ALL we've seen is characters from the movieverse and from Generations (the toys). That is it. No G1. No Beast era. No Animated. Nothing.

 

ill buy g1 characters , Windblade, and Beast Wars Characters, but the movie stuff I have no interest

 

You don't buy them. Characters are free. And it's random, like spinning a wheel of fortune.

But the good news for someone like you who absolutely does not want a particular group of characters, is that if you pull a movieverse character, you can sell it for some kind of in-game credit.

Everything is free. Even the game is free. You can choose to spend money to advance quicker, but it is in no way necessary. In fact, I enjoy the Marvel version of this game more by not spending money. There's still always plenty to do, and if I did get all the characters right away, I'd only get bored faster, I think.

 

I'd really love to ask just one question to the developers: Why did you make his model look like the Generations toy, when for the first time since mid-1999, we finally have the chance to see a professionally modeled Rhinox/BW in modern CGI?

 

OH SWEET JESUS I AM HYPE FOR THIS GAME if they do it right that is.

in the trailer you see movieverse Bumblebee's eyes go red and he starts attacking I NEED EXPLANATION also will the characters in the game look their most recent toys? I know that's what they were kinda going for in Earth Wars but they didn't do a great job - Ironhide and Ratchet in the game were reskins of each other and both turned into vans (Ratchet's looked more like an ambulance) when in their most recent toys Ironhide turned into a Ute and Ratchet turned into an All terrain ambulance as his UW toy is/Will be a repaint/Retool of First Aid (who himself has been repainted twice).

 

I hope they add some dudes from other continuities.
