I finally found Wave 3 deluxes in my area, so I got Triggerhappy first. He definitely lived up to the hype. I'm sure this has been mentioned before, but I'd love to see this retooled into Pharma. They could even change the forearm guns ino chainsaws.

Triggerhappy! ! Makes me happy. Incredible design! Best transformer I've bought in ages. I haven't had the issues mentioned in this thread with mine. His vehicle-mode is reminiscent of some raiden-style arcade game fighter. Makes me want a matching straight-up red repaint as opposed to some try-hard metalhawk... :D

I have to admit, I think this is my favorite TR figure to date. I don't have any connection to the character at all, and he wasn't really on my radar as a pickup for the wave, as Hot Rod and Getaway were the only ones I planned to buy. I have Hot Rod and am disappointed with him, Getaway was already gone off the pegs (escape artist that he is and all...), and I picked this guy up because I thought he looked cool.

I LOVE this figure. Great paint apps, the head slots in nice and tight, and the transformation is excellent. The undercarriage rotation actually elicited a "wow" moment for me in transformation, and both modes are excellent. The jet really looks phenomenal. I love that the guns on the arms can fold down and be wielded like an extension of the arms. Great figure, great engineering, and an excellent surprise for me in terms of my expectations.

Triggerhappy is hands down my favourite TR Deluxe so far. I usually feel a little guilty about buying multiples of a mold but this time I am really looking forward to it. Bring on Metalhawk.

Best Deluxe in a very long time. I am completely okay with getting him two more times as Misfire and Slugslinger, and I'd even take him a fourth time as IDW Pharma.

Is anyone else having trouble with Blowpipe popping out his socket in head mode? I have the tiny robot face facing the same way as the big robot face because it seems to fit better that way with less waggle, but it's way too easy, almost eager, to remove from the main body. Any fix for this?

I just got this figure the other day from a friend and I love this figure. It was kinda tough at first to figure out at first but once I got it down it was easy.

I'm assuming it's already been spotted that the two guns combined look a bit like the old G1 Targetmaster partners? It has arms, legs and feet along with the gun barrels up the back. Pity the little foot pegs aren't in the right place to plug Blowpipe in the other way around and his chest poking out so he can use the combined gun as a little G1 homage exosuit.

Add another one to the "never really knew the character but got this figure because of word of mouth and holy craaap" pile. I love it. The color scheme, spaceship mode, and of course that transformation. Little more complex than what we've gotten, which I dig. I dig mightily. The arm cannons in robot mode can be a tad obtrusive but not nearly as much as I thought they'd be. Highly recommend. If Misfire and Slugslinger keep the same fun transformation I'll probably get them too.

Not that this figure isn't already awesome, but I felt the desire to make a few aesthetic adjustments. Widening the holes on his hips allows his guns to be mounted close to the fuselage in jet mode, making for a cleaner silhouette. It also allows the guns to be holstered at the hip in robot mode. I couldn't quite get his eyes to look right to me, and I realized I mostly just wanted his toy-version visor, so I added that to his head (while keeping the ninja mask). Now, for me, he's just about perfect.

very nice mod, does the holes in the hips make them a bit loose?, i'd like a better pic of this part without the gun, and a back view of the alt mode with the guns please ^^

I'm super-happy this guy is getting such positive word of mouth.

He's been on my desk at work for the past few weeks. The new toy glow has faded a bit, so I feel more confident in my belief that Triggerhappy is easily one of the best deluxe-sized figures of all time. Future designers should consider this a model for how to do a toy at this size/price point right.

Yeah, this toy is good. I sorely wish Brainstorm got retooled from this instead of the Blurr mold.

Here ya go. I'm holding him suspended horizontally by his foot in the robot mode pic, which should answer the question about loose hips. Also, random swept-back-wing fan mode, just because.

Today, I've been fiddling with his chest compartment, having him carry around various titan master heads and wondering about possible Soundwave conversions....

This toy is just amazingly fun.

So, Target raised the price back to $15 but I had to see what everybody was talking about.

I would have paid $20 for this. He's that fucking good.

I'm super impressed with this guy. He's the first TF I've bought in a long time that is rock solid. No lose joints, perfect tolerances, nothing broken, nothing's missing, he's got a good transformation, decent accessories and he looks great.

I recently got TriggerHappy and Hotrod from a fellow board member since Wave 3 has yet to be stocked in my area.

All I can say is wow, what a great update to someone we havent seen for for 30 years now. The transformation is amazing and rewarding. I wish they could all be this fun. The difference between him and HotRod is night and day for me and TriggerHappy is amazing, while HotRod feels like a knockoff.

My only complaints are,I wish he was a Targetmaster like before, especially with his name,as Im getting tired of everyone being an HM now. Im also over the hollowed out guns that combine to make a bigger gun for the TM to sit in but it doesnt look much better. I would of also like to have seen some paint on Blowpipe. Other then that, this is the best deluxe in Wave3 and Im glad to have him.
