From a purely commercial sense, probably because the newest Bee figure looks like it, since IDW has to fit the toys in to the comics somehow. Although if that is the case, I'm pretty sure they will come up with an explanation...maybe a "that's how he really sees himself" or "how Starscream always saw him" thing.

 

I can see Starscream thinking he's trapped in there. Decides to get him out for PR purposes, only to discover too late that the singularity was merely maintaining some sort of echo of Bee's mind. Freeng him simply makes the apparition vanish.

 

I guess they were Conjunx Endura.

 

I wonder how much longer Barber wants to play this going-nowhere \"Bumblebee is a ghost but not really\" game. I thought getting a new toy would make them bring him back... come on, we know they will not kill off an important character like him forever.

Wow, more completely garbage art from IDW. I wish this was the exception, rather than decent art being the rare occurrence. Spend a little money, IDW, and hire real people. The best coloring in the world couldn't save this art, and you don't even have that.

The art feels rather Animated-ish. I like it. Also like Starscream's little "shh".

 

My guess was between OPTIMUS PRIME #2 and #3 and between TAAO #8 and #9. Any other thoughts on this?

 

I'm pretty sure it's going to be post-OP #6, as this seems to be follow-up to what happened with Optimus and Pyra in #4.

 

That works out great, as I am ending my subscriptions to OPTIMUS PRIME and REVOLUTIONARIES after issue #6 of each.

 

Awesome! I\'d be fairly relieved to see \'Bee back in action, I\'ve waited long enough. His death was left unprecedented to the many (to my surprise), especially to that of Optimus and Rodimus; no greivance once so ever. However, there was Megatron and Prowl...

 

What if Starscream is not crazy? What if his immortal spark bridges him between worlds so to speak, and he can actually speak to the dead? Just a theory, I know this is not the same continuity as G1, but it'd be an interesting take at least.
