That panel on the cover with Optimus and \'Bee looks kinda.... suggestive.

I don't think he was quite dead in the first place...well, not quite dead enough to not be affected by the singularity. Similarly to how Nightbeat was resurrected by the dead universe, and how in Lost Light, I suspect, Megatron's new "singularity ability" may have caused some of them to jump dimensions (and how I think they might pull in Optimus Primal to tie in with the Power of the Prime's vote). Also, this might mean that Shockwave is still movin' and groovin' somewhere and we just haven't seen him yet. Of course, all of this is just theory and supposition...

What, the DJD? He wasn't sucking them into a portal like happened to Bumblebee and Shockwave... he was using the antimatter from the singularity inside of him to tear their bodies apart. They were pretty definitively killed there.

Given the cover I'm going to assume Optimus is will see Bee and we'll be one step closer to resurrecting the poor bugger. I was also going to ask how Pyra was lived in Crystal City but she was just referring to using the cave as a refuge.

    Who's the artist for this?

Also I wonder if they will bring Bee back, and if they do how they will do it

Yes, but earlier in the issue they found Whirl's arm from way back when he shoved his arm in to the wormhole/singularity in Megs chest, and Ravage figured out that Megatron had managed to pull the arm to him from the wormhole/singularity. So apparently, depending on how he uses it, Megs appears to be able to destroy or transport items through its usage.... Of course, this is comic book logic...

Well, I mean, the DJD were all sliced apart and left in pieces by the antimatter. Even if the parts of them consumed by it were teleported and not simply disintegrated into nothingness, that would have still killed them.

Oh no doubt he slaughtered them, but what I'm saying is that he was able to move something through the portal without destroying it, namely Whirl's arm. So, by context, this could explain how Bee could still be alive-ish. Since Megatron's chest portal was also used to go to and from the dead universe, and that's how Nightbeat was brought back to life. So it appears that Megs can utilize the portal in different ways.

Ah. In that case, something to remember is that it wasn't Megatron's singularity that Bumblebee's corpse and Shockwave were pulled into; it's a completely separate thing created by Optimus and Megatron blowing up Shockwave's time drive. We have no idea if it operates like Megatron's or not.

Very true, I'm just using this as a possible bases for how Bumblebee could still be alive-ish, in a cross dimensional phase form, as well as possibly Shockwave. Of course, that completely fails to reason why only Starscream can see and hear him. Unless he really is nuts and is pulling a Sixth Sense thing...

Yeah, I do think the story is certainly trying to make us think Bumblebee's alive and trapped in the singularity, but I dunno... I don't think it's going to be that simple, and there is going to be some sort of twist (there is the question of, if Starscream's hallucination is the real thing trapped in some dimensional phase state, why isn't he in the body he died in?)
