Love the idea of Trypticon,  but like others said he just doesn\'t fit in my collection.  Too big and more of a luxury than anything.

I would consider getting him if I had the space. Still, doesn\'t hurt to save some $

So, not in scale with Titan-class Metroplex.... May have to pass on this then.

Looks good...wonder if I can luck up on just him...like I did with Scamper from Metroplex...both are a bit to big for my collection space...

Wow that's a nostalgic reference! I remember that episode but I haven't seen it since I was a kid. Through the years I've been wanting to see it again but never have.

I wonder when Trypticon will be released and how much he'll cost? If he's not outrageously priced I'll definitely get him. But if they ask as much as they did for Fortress Maximus, I'll pass. He's not in scale with Metroplex and spending over $100 on ANY toy is asking way way way much of me. I mean you could sell it at $50 and still make a profit like they did Unicron. (I guess I'm beginning to rant at the outrageous prices these days. They are just big hunks of plastic parts that will stand still on a shelf after all.)

I feel like Full-Tilt suffers from what CW Wheeljack did. Too much of one particular color. He looks good, no doubt, just if he had joints of a different color. My guess is they did it to match Trypticon though, so it doesn\'t look out of placertain on his chest.

Trypticon is gorgeous. I can not wait to get him. It's like all the post movie toys are coming to life and it's Awesome! I'm going to have to start packing away older stuff to make room for all these awesome new toys.

Not sure if Titan Class figures have a real scale, but he looks like the right size to me.

He and Metroplex are supposed to be roughly the same size (official scale charts show Trypticon somewhat larger than Metro actually), and if I'm not mistaken this guy looks quite a bit shorter than TC Metroplex, so their pairing will not be awesome - these two being the principle antagonists for each other in the cartoon. I think that TC Metroplex is a good large bot benchmark for Legends scale even though realistically he is even undersized for that, but obviously this is about as big as a TF toy is going to get realistically. Nonetheless, I welcome your thoughts to the contrary. In short, Metro sort of set the size for Legends more or less, and picky collectors will ultimately want a similarly sized Tryp. As an aside, I would say that right now we sort of have 2 Legends scales - the DX9 size minus Galvatron/Cyclonus, who themselves are sort of in a B Legends scale more similar to what Iron Factory does. Hasbro of course does not usually strive to have any scale consistency with their releases in general, IMO.

I'm happy with 20", although I would have liked him a little bigger. Will be interesting to see him stand next to CW/TW Devastator.

I'm not sure he's that much shorter than Metroplex, though, maybe it's cause he's slouching? I don't know. It seems like it will be close, especially given Trypticon's bulk will give him a good presence against the Autobot cities. I think they'll be fairly evenly matched even if Metroplex ends up with a few inches advantage.

I think the problem is scale never has and never will factor into Generations toys, and you can't go off of official charts because I don't think Hasbro is all that worried about following them and just sticks to what works for the budget or specific price point. The Titan Metroplex already broke all the rules, anyway, being that he's supposed to be so large that he has little Autobots looking out of his chest windows, meaning even Titan Masters are too big to scale correctly with the toy let alone the Legends class official or unofficial. So I think it's something that's never going to be quite right with the size department and the pickier of collectors are just going to have to deal with it or just stay away from city bots altogether.

This website has done an approximation between Tryp and new Fortress Maximus (based on measurements of the leg) which should give a good visual, as previously said he isn't in scale with the other city bots from a G1 perspective, which these toys are strongly based on.

This is the problem I am pointing out.

Again, this is more or less the problem, Hasbro's lack of consistency and their lack of dedication to what fans want, not a reason why the charts aren't a good or relevant resource.

Don't try to speak for all fans. I'm perfectly happy with the sized currently. I have Deluxe Warpath and have no intention of replacing him in my CHUG display unless a Legends Warpath is mindblowingly better. Not everyone wants voyager everything, so speak for yourself, not the fandom.

I don't understand what you are saying at all, except not speaking for all fans, which wasn't my intention, but is still a good point I will keep in mind. However, keep in mind that the whole 3P thing exists due to legions of fans who are mostly very unhappy with what's going on with official product. I can't speak for every 3P fan, but being very intimately familiar with this particular marketplace, I can tell you it is a lot of them.

That was a thing? Then again, as someone who's currently watching GI Joe for the first time I can't say I'm surprised after seeing Season 1 Episode 26 (The Gamesmaster), which may just be the weirdest episode of anything I've ever seen. GI Joe certainly relished in its own silliness.

    Trypticon looks interesting.

I always liked the 'character' as it wasn't just another humanoid robot look.

Disappointing that he is going to be shorter than Fort/Plex but to be honest a 3rd figure at this scale is going to be a room issue for some including myself.
