Is it safe to say the reason Brainstorm is squealing is because he thinks Perceptor was wrong about alternate universes? Wait, not, Brainstorm wasn't on the Lost Light when Perceptor said that. Brainstorm was busy creating the alternate-- Ooooooooooh.
A forensic operation on a petal turns out a waste of time. I don't really know what to say about that, it's both funny and sad.
Ooh, I just remembered something highly interesting that makes it even more likely it's Killmaster. The geobomb was based off of Killmaster's "moongun" design. And what more than likely sent the protagonists to the Functionist Universe? The geobomb. They're probably going to need his help to get back to the regular universe.
I think this is our Out to potentially work Star Saber into the Power of the Primes Line/ Story (potentially having a showdown between the Victory Characterization/ Real Star Saber and the Zealot, who I think could be a Deathsaurus plot to discredit his oldest foe) …….the silhouette looks like either Star Saber's shoulder gun or head antenna
Looks like Whirl did not tell the truth about how he dealt with his nemesis... 'cause that sure looks like "big guy with the wand" Killmaster there. Would not be surprised if he turns out to have been a big wuss all along and Whirl had embellished his evilness just to make himself look good. I mean, guy has to be overcompensating with a name like that.
And here I was thinking I was the only one who had thought of that! I mean it makes sense, if the outside universe sees a *BANG* then no more planet, you assume it was blown up, not teleported, right?
Is that the real Ultra Magnus in there? This looks like it's gonna be awesome. Can't wait. I love how this book is going at this moment. And can't wait for the theories and mystery discussion
Well, we're definitely supposed to *think* it's Killmaster. Whether or not it's a bluff by Roberts remains to be seen ...
Brainstorm squealing because they're trapped in a dystopian alternate universe... Never change, Brainstorm. Never change.
I'm going to go with: 1) Because Whirl has proven to be insane. 2) He's also a pathological lair. ********************************************** As for the art work complaints.... This feels like the art work of a comic strip in the Sunday paper. I've seen worse here (TF: Optimus Prime's first 3 are far worse IMO) so it isn't a deal breaker.
I think it's Killmaster because of the cover of Whirl squirming in panic, and 'is that what I think it is" shot of the wand, however.... They've implied during Remain In Light that Tyrest and Minimus knew the Original Magnus died, so What if its Delta? Another case of "mentioned once and never seen again until it's time." The clue has been there: Back in Shadowplay, IronFist laments that his "replica" of his armor just disappeared one day.
