hmmm Pre-Orders =/= Crowed funding. I think Sony pulled this with Shinmu they had all the money basically ready but used crowed funding as a way to drive hype and get some pre-orders in.

Also if this is just a smart watch... why not just make it a watch?! if the straps were nicer on that old movie toy I'd totally use it.

Plus, I'm going to PERSONALLY BOYCOTT these specifically. I'm sick and tired of the Optimus/BB/Megatron trifecta. MAKE SOMETHING NEW OR GTFO!  

(For a moment, I was excited about a Sunstreaker phone... nope. False alarm. Because collectors need a BB phone.  )

 

Considering these phone-things are apparently the same mold with different heads, They oughta just include interchangeable heads for anything that vaguely fits. Got a yellow-&-black phone? It can be Bumblebee, Movie Bumblebee, Sunstreaker, Drag Strip, Hubcap, Cheetor, BW Buzzsaw, BW2 Thrust, Sunstorm, Steeljaw, or 2003 Universe Fire Truck Optimus Prime!

Right? I get that OP, Bee and Megatron are the popular bots, but this idea screams Soundwave and Blaster. Trukk, not monkey, not shoe, not game console, not pen, not phone. Not Pen Pineapple Apple Pen, either.

This is one of those TF items I look at and initially think it's rubbish, but the more I look at it and the more I read about it, it becomes a must-have item! Trouble is, I have no idea how to get one.
