Free is free no doubt. I hope someone is tracking these ebay sales cause they're happening quite frequently, but still hard to guess exactly what date especially with the small window for the sale. Hey, I used the deal to purchase the Soul of Chogokin Voltron that's priced similar to black bape.....while the wallet is still recovering, there's a tiny bit of satisfaction on the saving.

 

Totally agree with you there! That's why it's cool when they give you gift cards, although my broker sucked at that haha but better then nothing obviously.

Yeah that sucks, same happened to me actually although I waited to use my ebay bucks but every savings would have been nice...

 

A while back there was a conversation about grading double taped masterpiece figures. I just got my double taped MP-10K back from AFA and they did grade it. Red label. The two tapes do look identical. Hope this helps someone if they are considering sending one in.

 

Thanks so much for posting this. I keep a lot of my figures MISB so it's great to know they can one day be graded even if they are double taped.

 

No problem. I have most everything MISB as well. Now I'm confident that I can send in Skywarp, even though he was double taped as well, with the rest of the masterpiece seekers at some point.

 

Wow I'm impressed that they graded it and not on the Opened Qualified scale. They must have changed their requirements cause it was just a few years ago that they wouldn't grade double taped as a sealed but a opened qualified scale.
My double tape also looks identical so maybe I'll sent it in after all.
So do you have any pictures of this awesome afa MP-10 and did you use the modern grading scale or the classic scale?

 

I will never understand AFA collecting.

Makes some sense for old rare items but newly released stuff not so much.

 

I had it graded with the classic scale. I don't know why but I like that better. I'm out of town at a hockey tournament so I could post a picture when I get back on Monday. Although I've never posted a pic so I'd have to figure that out.

 

I wonder when the KO will come out. The red KO was announced like a few weeks after the original was announced.

 

id rather get one without the ape on the shoulder or the grey camo so also hoping for a KO or a TT release of a grey goodbye mp10.

 

We'll definitely see a KO pop up shortly. There were images of the a grey/sleep deco of the WJ MPP10 at some point - but those never seem to have come out.

As this *is* a TT product, and they've re-issued the standard MP10 for a 3rd time now... I don't know what the chances are for an official MP10 sleep convoy. If they did one with battle damage as well as the sleep colour, then I'd be keen... but we might be more likely to get a battle damage version from a KO.

Edit, scratch that. The photo I was thinking of actually looks to be (in restrospect) just an unpainted version of the MPP10B.

 

It just seems like this will happen. Such an easy cash grab and they have milked the MP-10 mold so much that I think this will eventually happen. I have MP-04s but would love to have one in the MP-10 mold.

Or maybe just wishful thinking on my part... just would rather have a new sleep version than all these other random reprints (10a, 10r, 10k, 10eva, 10sg, YOTH...). But then again I throw $$ at whatever they put out, so who am I to talk.
