I'll try and track down as many of the BB variants as I can, though I do want the Grimlock car and Dino.

I do wish they'd repainted the Steeljaw a bit more - Metalic or neon colour or a police deco would have been nice.

I like how a lot of the repaints tie to the show - I'm a little surprised that they didn't reissue the Black *and yello* Bumblebee from the multi-pack - he's quite rare compared to the others if he's not got a reissue.

I wonder if they can keep the price down if they no longer all light up ?

Like everyone else I like the Grimlock Dragster too - they made one of them in a bigger size as an RC car already. it would make a terrific triple changer Voyager if Hasbro wanted to slip one into the Generations line somewhere or other some time.

    -----

I like most of them - I'll likely get some more - I bought most of the light up ones (well the single vehicle packs anyway).

Wow. That Optimus Prime truck cab is already looking better than all of the Optimus figures from the whole RiD line so far.
And some of these repaint color schemes are really neat too.
What a pity these do not transform...

I wished diecast was used for more than just Hotwheel type cars :(

non-transforming Transformers are an easy pass.

I'm definitely planning on getting more of the RID die-cast vehicles including the Optimus car carrier trailer. Nice to see they've done the car Grimlock as well. I also wish someone would do die-cast versions of G1 Optimus and car Autobots' alt-modes.

It's ironic seeing the company that knocks off and rips off Hasbro the most in Europe... now producing licenced Hasbro toys. (I still have the knockoff G1 Quake Simba bundled with some Gundam KO... and anyone in Hungary or Austria can attest to the Filly pony-ripoffs usually being on display right next to MLP FiM - and often overshadowing them even.

I am interested in Slipstream and Underbyte though, if they look OK. Are those diecast too?
Also, LOL, a company that repaints things even more often than Hasbro! :D  Seriously they just repaint the same 6 molds over and over in the first wave?
And come ooooon.... what is that Grimlock-dragster thing? I want DINO-CRANE!!!

I do enjoy 1:64 die cast quite a bit, so these are pretty cool! Repaint the Prime with trailer into Ultra Magnus and you've got a sale!

The "7cm" means that they are 1:64 right?

Yes, a typical 1:64 scale car -- Hot Wheels or Matchbox -- is about 7cm in length. Listing the size instead of scale is bit more accurate as obviously different sized vehicles are all reduced to the same "play scale" in inexpensive lines such as this.

Thanks! Stoked for these esp the carrying case! Epic!

Any ideas on what the US brand will be or US retailers that will have them? Same as their older RPM lines maybe?

Weird. This auction of the Dickie Optimus shows the main picture as looking like a 7cm die cast... but the next pictures look like a much larger toy? with fold out flaps and morphing gimmicks?

Those are two different toys. The larger OP truck came out mid last year. It had a Minicon gimmick.

Stumbled across these. First look at some of the TLK models. Think I'll go for the Jada diecast cars...

Barricade actually looks the part more than Bumblebee. So sad.
