The one with the eye is dope. Seeing that Eye brings back memories. (OMFG Im waxing nostalgic for the MOVIES, where did 10 years go)
Wow that first one, someone needs a lesson in anatomy articulation. Even if its Photoshop pieced images at least try to make it look like it should.
I can see why. Only 2 show actual events from the film and of those the one with primes arm looks like a crap photoshop job, his arm just looks really broken at that angle.
The first one w/ Swimmin' Pool Prime is total dogshit, but I actually don't mind the second one. Falls perfectly in line with "blockbuster movie" style composite & color wise. The third one barely qualifies as a poster, so no point even commenting on it.
It's funny I can do same work with using different program not photoshop have posters look same as they do,. Posters look nice not liking prime pool one it doesn't fit have him pose different may look better scorponock poster doesn't really qualify for poster looks like picture like second more
I love that second poster just for how it conveys the idea of a war from beyond the stars invading our planet so well. As for the others, I think the third is neat but not really poster material and all I can think of when looking at that first one is \"Good lord Optimus, what\'s wrong with your arm?! Did you fold up in the protoform pod wrong and so when the impact came it broke?! Just what\'s going on with it?!\"
Does this lend any more credence to the idea that Optimus was the one coming out of the pool? To me, it's enough that Prime's freaking theme is playing during the shot, yet everyone insists that it's Ironhide.
Everyone "insists" on it because the movie itself clearly shows everyone that it's Ironhide in the pool, and Prime in the field. There's nothing to interpret - the movie LITERALLY shows us who is who regardless of what the background music was.
Originally, I always thought it was Optimus at first. The reason why is because after pool-bot sneaks out it cuts right to Ironhide transforming to vehicle mode. Editing wise it's an odd desicion to cut right from "Ironhide" in robot form to his vehicle mode transformation.
The Prime poster looks weird, something about that arm is distracting me. xD SEcond one looks great! I want that one.
Great posters, love the last one. Perhaps we say it's Ironhide because he has Ironhide's head and limp, and Paramount + Hasbro confirmed it was Ironhide that got out of the pool. The reason for that we see Optimus in that poster, is because it was originally intended to be Optimus who got out of that pool, but then they changed it.
I like all of these posters, to be quite honest. The third one is my favorite, though. The second one I like the least, too generic.
I know it's indisputable, as the makers of the movie already settled the problem, but I can't stop seeing OP in the pool. As a kid watching the movie, I just ALWAYS ASSUMED it was OP, for multiple reasons. The protoform was extremely too tall to be any of the other autobots. For crying out loud, "Ironhide" is not so tall he has to duck under trees. The face resembled that of OP, not Ironhide. The theme music It never even crossed my mind that he was anyone else, and even after re-watching the video, the only Ironhide I see in it is that he has the same toes. And to be fair, ALL the protoforms have the exact same designs.
I like the first one. Reminds me of old 80s movie posters. As for the arm, they're alien robots. The Scorponok one is cool. Shame he was reduced to a minion as G1 Scorponok was a great villain/anti hero in the comics.
