He is the best looking Galvatron period. Certainly better than Generations or the mess that is Titans returns.

I love mine. I even went to the trouble of Reprolabeling him. One of my absolute all time favorite transforming molds. Period.

I love everything about my Mania King except his transformation. The legs scare me and so I've only ever transformed him once. And that's a shame because he looks great in both modes.

I have both versions of Maniaking but I'm surprised no one ever made a clear glittery orange cannon for him, especially since that part is detachable.

    Why is the cannon white?

Also isn't this the wrong forum?

Yeah, i also don't transform him too much. I do think the connections are robust enough, but i'm still carefull and i worry about the tabs or slides (don't know how to call them) becoming too thin through wear to retain the friction to keep the legpanels together.

    I do believe it is.

Agree with both points....he is a bit scary to transform, he is very much an adult collectible.

Should have made a clear barrel... Wonder if the tr barrel would look good on there.

Apples and oranges. Mania King is Voyager-sized, FT's is MP-scale.

Ditto. I've bought a ton of 3P since then, but Mania King is still my favorite. I actually dig the darker purple of the original version, and the Reprolabels cover the white on the cannon with nice metallic orange.

Personally, I don't think transforming him is too bad; I've done it plenty of times. And the height difference with Hegemon doesn't bother me, since we're talking maybe half a head difference.

Mania King has what is probably the best head sculpt I've seen on a Galvatron. I also love how well he cleans up in bot mode. The only thing I'd say is "wrong" with him is the lack of wrist articulation, but you hardly miss it.

When they announced Titans Return Galvatron I figured I'd take a look, but seeing how they whiffed on his head as killed it for me harder than even the hollow forearms.

He is also a Headmaster, has hollow bits everywhere, has a weird head and has weird arms. Basically everything people complain about MK, but made even worse.

Seeing Titans Returns Galvatron has made me wanna get more G1 accurate Maniaking. TR Galvatron just has too many issues for me and proportion wise it looks awkward.

Not to be a Negative Ned but isn't Hot Rod generally considered to be shorter than Galvatron? It was Rodimus who, if I recall correctly, matched Galvatron in height.
