I was remembering May, but that may be because regular figures that release at the end of the month usually get paid at the beginning of the next month for me. Would be fabulous for me if MP Megs and MP Dirge land in different months!

The whole thing was one, big middle finger from Takara.  

 

I have to admit, they actually got these 3 out faster than I would have anticipated.

 

I was just watching some old episodes, when a nice shot of Dirge came by. Since this thread has gone quiet lately, I did a side-by-side comparison to get people enthusiastic again.  



To me it looks like TT nailed it, except for the bombs, which I would have preferred shorter like in the cartoon.

May seems far away still...  

 

I agree they totally nailed him. I just wish that they would have made the other two as toon accurate as Dirge.

 

When Dirge gets here, will finally have all the seekers. Then maybe Takara will then retire that mould for good. I've always liked the MP 3 & MP 11 moulds. But the same looking fusalage is getting tiresome. C'mon May! C'mon Dirge!

 

I was pleasantly surprised by Thrust despite the crappy QC. I'm just not convinced I was 150-quid pleasantly surprised!

 

I'm just looking for this to drop so KFC will go ahead and release the matching hand set that I can use on my YM Dirge.

Who all still has this up for preorder? The usual dealers I buy from all say out of stock or order stop.

Are those actually bombs or missiles or cannons? To me they also look like bombs but I never saw Dirge use them in the cartoon except for punching people.

 

Looks like BBTS is selling this for $10 cheaper than the the other MP coneheads.

That shot is from the episode "Aerial Assualt" as I'd recognize it anywhere. I loved the animation art in that episode.

 

Great animation, interesting episode...I think at this point even Megatron would agree that a giant purple griffin probably wasn't the best idea for a "Flying Fortress"...

 

I was at one point looking forward to finishing up the Seeker set now I think I'm just going to skip this guy.

 

What changed your mind?

 

I'm bound to get flamed for bumping a thread when I arguably have nothing noteworthy to report, but Mr DaimChoc Reports dude over at Facebook has a couple of MP36 pics that also have Dirge in. They're not great from a Dirge perspective but hey...
