    Uh, he wasn't Rodimus in the movie. Only in the tv series.

    Really??!! Well i sound like an idiot, then who voiced him in the movie?. They sound very similar.

    Judd Nelson voiced Hot Rod/Rodimus Prime in the movie? Same as how Galvatron was voiced by Leonard Nimoy in the movie and Frank Welker in the show.

    Yeah, they got real, kind of famous actors for many of the roles in the movie... Ultra Magnus, Kup, Unicron, Wreck-Gar, etc.... which they either could not afford (or were not available) for the tv cartoon. I mean, even if he hadn't died, I seriously doubt Orson Welles would have voiced Unicron in Season 3.

    To be honest the voice actors for Kup sounded pretty similar, at least they did a nice job.

    I always think of him first as Rodimus Prime first since I only saw TFTM long after Season 3.

    This is sad day indeed. I wish I had the oppurtunity to meet him. He will be missed. He was also Serpentor in GI Joe and Hermie the Robot in Get Smart.
