It was Gawain who fought the Green Knight. And the character in Donkey Kong 3 is Stan(ley) the Bug Man; he's not related to Mario, he's just a guy shooting insecticide up DK's butt
Watched Rogue One a second time just before your podcast got to the discussion about the film. Seeing it both in 3D and regular, definitely seems like the 3D helps mask the CGI a bit better. Really enjoyed it and lookong forward to a supplimental discussion or something once everyone has seen it. My question towards the supplimental would be how the crew feela the force is being portayed in the original trilogy, the prequels, and the new films. I really appreciate what is being done now, the dichotomy between the faiths of the two temple guardians was a nice way to show how the destruction of the Jedi has effected the regular folk in the galaxy. Also, my bad about questioning why old members left, I promise it was out of curiosity not the desire for there to be some crazy conspiracy behind departures.
@Seth Buzzard : after listening to the episode I realized why I couldn't figure out your rom issues over twitter; you're doing it the right way by adding games individually instead of just dumping an entire romset in there and filtering out clones and crap games. A lot of the issues related to release versions, missing files, and parent/clones stuff doesn't happen when you have a full set and matching version, but then you run into the silliness you guys were talking about where you have a huge list of games to sort through and you don't care about 95% of them. I guess it's worth the config headaches to add games little by little. Check out DoDonPachi the next time you're looking to add games to MAME.
As maybe the only person in existence who still uses a Zune, and as such the only person who would notice this, the Zune subscriber link doesn't work. XD No biggie though, as the RSS feed works just fine. Also I'd leave a review, but I don't think the zune podcast store still exists.
I felt the Masked Rider tv show did a pretty good job using the Kamen Rider J footage. That was up until the end of an pisode where Dex becomes giant, I think the fact that he was suddenly a different design could've been easily dismissed, but no, they just had to shoot additional reaction shots. The footage used the Black RX suit, so they already messed it up, and it was shot against a blank backdrop which did not mesh at all with the Kamen Rider J footage. Just one of the many things wrong with Masked Rider.
I think there was some better exploration of headmasters in the text stories in the old marvel annuals.
The white sticker on Bat Primal's sticker sheet is to cover up the Decepticon insignia on TT Skullcruncher's chest, so you give him a proper Predacon insignia.
I always thought that a fun idea for headmasters was basically technological headcrabs, they have alt modes and head modes, no robot modes, they come along and mob cybertronians, behead them, and whoever's on the neck stump at the time takes over the body. Then, the new robot starts luring other Cybertronians into situations where they can be ambushed too.
