I love Feral Rex's Oppenheimer Sword -- I bought its replica, CombToys' W01 Bastard, for my TFC Ares.

So here's a potentially silly question: has Feral Rex's combined cannon ever been knocked off/sold separately?

How's the guns/cannon accessory for the knockoff Feral Rex? I might buy a Nero Rex just to steal his guns/cannon for my Ares.

 

if you're refering to the neoarts one it's great quality as reported by.....i can never remember his name crap, but the neoarts ko is of great quality just under mmc feral rex and no one has ko the cannon

I just have two quick questions: is there any way to plug the concussion cannon for Leo Dux so that it is symmetrical; do I have to use the 4 ports for talon? Does anyone have a fix for the looseness of the extending back cannons for Leo Dux? Thanks in advance!

Well well, my alternate heads have finally shipped from psx for feral and nero, bout damn time!

 

It's so weird. Out of all the 3P Predacons, I like Feral Rex's weaponry best... but I like TFC Ares' robots best. I actually bought CombsToys' W01 Bastard for use with my Ares crew, but their hands are generally not quite suited to holding the separate melee weapons. Trying to figure out how best to modify the Bastard's parts to work with the Ares cew while still maintaining their ability to combine.

 

I have a stupid question.. Is there any way for Tigris to make a leg mode? Or is it just not possible?

I just uncombined mine since a while now of being always combined, in wait of the new faces that shipped out a few days ago. I kinda feel like leaving them uncombined now for a long time, they are on my top shelve and really love the group along with Feralqueen and Asterisk Cynicus. I just wish i could take good pictures again.

 

I know how you feel. Mine have spent more time apart than combined. Such a great looking team. What are those alternative weapons? Also, pic looks just fine.

So folks, what do you think about the Dimension X Face Kit? I still prefer displaying my Feral Cons as single bots. While the updates for Leo Dux and Tigris to me look worse than the stock faces I'm really digging the ones for the other three. Any experiences? Is it easy to swap the parts? Is it worth to buy the set?

 

I'm a bit disappointed with the standard set, scuplt wise I'm with you in that I think those 3 improve the look, the other 2 are ok for me but tigris especially is a long way off his g1 so not sure i'd use it. They are a real faff to get on tho, Leo is a coupe of screws, no issue there and tigris is just a ball peg. Typical.
The other 3 are a pain, talon looks like the bird head should split but mine is either glued in or so super tight I can't budge it. You could i think pop the face straight out but getting the other back in would be very tricky. Tantrum/headstrong (can't remember 3p names) you need to remove the beast head and split i think, the mushroom pegs on mine are not for budging either, the amount of force I'm applying to get it off makes me think I'm really going to break it, so I've stopped.

The heads look really nice in the nero colours and I'd swap all of those out, but its the same for fitting them. I'm thinking I've wasted my money on both tbh.

 

Wow, thanks for these informations. Sounds like it's not worth purchasing this set if you have to go through all that trouble. Splitting some glued parts or applying force to get something off might lead to breaking something. So they'll keep their stock faces. They'll still look great.
