Ah ok that explains it, cause I figured the wheels had to roll freely and when you click both sets all the way to those locking points that's simply not possible, their is not enough clearance for the wheels to turn freely so it never made sense to me for them to sit there. So one design flaw dropped for another really, unfortunately.

Glad MT's guy didn't make the same mistake with Striker's mold, he rolls great.

yes gotcha, that was my initial assumption but when i did it the back wheel still was not flushed with the front one, maybe 3mm upwards but still not leveled with the other two pair of wheels. On smooth surfaces such as my bedsheets they roll fine but on a table,or even my cabinet for that matter, the back wheel won't roll at all, which is a problem i prefer to fix,but not a necessity since it looks leveled for the most part.TThank for your help btw, really appreciate it:)

very unfortunate indeed. Is gento worth it btw?His colour scheme with the fading red to black looks damn good but i don't know if I want three of the same mold haha!I managed to snag ripper and hyper novae for cheaper price than if ordering from maketoys.jp MISB since there is no shipping cost and the prices are $10-ish lower than the original price converted and nemesis for $10-ish higher than original cost converted,so i'll say i'm very lucky haha

I enjoyed Nemesis enough I wanted a version of the figure without armor I can freely transform any time without worrying about partsforming. That was my main reason for getting gento. Its a great stand alone deluxe optimus but you should know what to expect if you already own the other two versions. But sure I am particularly fond of the laser prime deco also so that helps make him worthwhile to me too.

every other shop i see only has battle sentinel and not gento itself, which makes me kind of sad,but i guess it's an "exclusive" so :(

MT shipping shouldn't be too bad Gento .

And the box he comes in includes a pretty rad free tshirt, I was surprised it fit me so well lol.

No idea. I thought battle sentinel was packaged the same way as nemesis in a larger plastic clamshell box. Gento comes in a harder jewelry box / watch style box with a foam insert with the tshirt underneath.

So I would assume its a gento only shirt since the shirt just has him on it.

Hey-o, hate to necro a thread but I just (FINALLY) got my hands on Hyper Novae. Now, I have transformed him to super mode and it all went well. Now I'm terrified of taking the backpack off due to how it attaches. Any tips for an easy/safe way to do so?

It's sturdier than you'd expect. Word of warning though, the butt flap on the main figure, be careful extending and collapsing it because the first time I ever tried collapsing it, it snapped off in my hand. Broke my heart.

I recall loosening the screws in the backpack a bit to help getting it off and on when I had mine.

I'd do what several of us did, there's one screw at the attachment point almost on the backpack that you can take out. It will provide additional flex and won't make you nervous anymore handling the guy. Have had mine since he came out and I have no issues whatsoever with that one thing done.
