Just checking - are these available for order anywhere yet?

 

Personally, I just don't feel the need for Blue-Collar Buddies, though I'm glad they're being made for the people who want them.

If the 3rd-partiers wanted to make humanesque companions, I'd rather see MP-scaled Diaclone driver figs made with good old-fashioned metal. I know it's not part of the TF mythos, but these would be much more interesting to me, especially now that we've got a Sideswipe coming out.

 

I'm debating picking these guys up, does anyone have a pic of them standing next to MP Sideswipe/Alert in vehicle mode? I've been scouring the internet, can't find anything. Thanks!!

I know this is an old thread,but I just got these guys yesterday. They are pricey for such small figs,but go great with MP10 prime. Actually they have really nice details, you can immediately tell its Spike and Sparkplug. It makes the Spike figure that came with prime look horrible. I didn't think that kind of detail on something so small could make you identify with a character. Dr. Wu came through! I'd recommend them. They don't scale well otherwise,but nice to have a fairly good representation sitting in Prime. My MP cassettes love to try to get at them!

 

Yep, I have both sitting in MP-10's cab. And you're right, they make MP-Spike look horrible.

 

Looks like the second run of these guys is happening. Dr Wu is still alive after all.

*Sigh* Hopefully not as fragile as the first run. I tried swapping legs to make Sparkplug bigger and only managed to break the legs in the process.

I picked up the helmetless version myself.

 

They should have upscaled them by 50% to be as tall as their Dr. Evil. He scales much better with the MP line than Spike and his dad.

 

we need more human figures on this scale (not going to start a different "partners" collection), that are poseable. Would love the "only human" cast in poseable form...and Carly! and a new Faireborn.

Awesome! I've been wanting another set of these for a long time.

 

They probably wouldn't be poseable, like the newer figures.

(BadCube's SunSurge comes with a Chip Chase also)

Not sure why they went that route when it was the moving limbs on the partners figures that made them interesting.

Hell, even Takara's early human characters had moving limbs. And then look at their shitty Raoul.
