i really wish the people that get this so early on take better pics and transform them right. the first in hand pics never make the figure look good.

Where'd all that purple on him come from? That wasn't in the render! Wrong 'wave, this is Sound, not Shock!
Still think Animated is my favorite Soundwave figure, but I am really liking this guy. Feels like a mashup between him and Primewave.
I guess (?) we should be enjoying it anyway, since in a few months the aisles are gonna be cluttered up with even more crappy Bayformers toys...
Kinda wish he had a less Cybertron-y alt-mode, and he does look like someone apparently left a couple cases of Kremzeek Cola in the Shadowzone, but all in all I think he looks O.K.
This feels a bit like Sins of the Wreckers Guzzle where he could just as easily be in a big power suit as much as having gotten a new body.
Could just be the angle, it appears the photo was taken from a birds-eye-view, plus likely to be mis-transformed.
The CGI rendered photo shows us a really great interpretion of the figure. I like most part of it as it seems HasTak has tried to tie the alignverse together. I too, have been tried to design the alignverse character to have a mixed elements from each series and games into a one unique design. and Im happy to see they actually ended up at this point. Sadly, the mistransformed pic ruins the figure a bit. also for anyone who sees the purple legs, its just a flaw lighting
I am not one normally to care for a Soundwave that doesn`t transform in to some thing other than a comunications device , but this I like .
It's a pretty nice looking figure that channels a few interpretations of the character at once. It's just this mistransformed photo what's hilarious.
Anyone else see a potential remold as a halftrack to get a Polar Claw? Would then loooooove a recolor to get a Survive or Bearbarian/Grizzly-1.
