Yeah, looks like they accordion up at the elbow a bit. Even still, I think the forearm looks a little funny but I think that's because I'm used to the chunky monkey arms of the original.
We're so close to getting this guy. Once FTs Grimlock and new Slag come out, the perfect Dinobots will finally be here. WHERE IS CESIUM DAMNIT?!??!?!!?!?!?
Great review as always, Peaugh! Grinder is looking great, even if he is essentially just a "bigger Grimlock", but then I'm a sucker for Grimlock. It's a shame no one has taken pictures of or shown the new faces for the other Dinobots in place, though. (The face at the end is for Soar, not Sludge, by the way.) Any chance of some pictures of the Soar face attached? It's also a shame that the new face for Soar seems to have a screaming face on the reverse rather than the shit-eating grin of the original!
Nice reviews guys. Biggest problem areas for me aesthetically, Dino head doesn't look good and is too huge. Doesn't tug away well enough in bot mode. Mode has has more problems, crotch design and size, upper legs still too small/thin, abb section way too thin. Because of the shitty lower torso proportions, the arms look way too big and bulky. Aside from these, by far the best g1 gridlock out there. Hope giga will one up this, but I'm not too sure anymore after their atrocious grassor. Gaudentor (? Sludge) isn't looking too hot either. Moving on from these ft and giga designs and taking ques from them, one should.he able to make pretty much perfect mp dinos from here on out. These are all close, but not close enough.
Absolutely loving this guy and can't wait to get him on my shelf. Sorry MP-08, your time is nearly done.
