My Ramjet has that same wobbly left lower leg issue you mentioned but the ratchet works fine...The wobblyness comes from lower than the knee....You disassembled the thigh or the lower leg?

Got mine in today. He looks great and I like him, but I too have the floppy torso. I've seen several mentions of fixes, but haven't seen any demonstrated. Can those of you who have and fixed the floppy waist issue elaborate and what you did?

Great hearing the latest impressions and seeing the latest pics. Thrust really does look magnificent next to Ramjet. My Thrust looked a little off next to Ramjet and upon closer inspection I didn't push the slider joint all the way down. It snapped into place and the tightening after my fix just became so tight that it's absolutely rigid. Thrust's waist ain't moving in the slightest. I love this figure.

I used an elastic string, others have used other materials but it's just wrapping the string around the pin until you get your desired tightness, grab both ends of the string and tighten again, double knot, then cut off the ends of the string. It's extremely easy just slide the torso up so you have full access to the pin and you'll be able to work it out from there.

Sounds like yours is a lower leg issue? The knee is double-jointed with ratchets both above (in the thigh) and below (lower leg). My problem was obvious straight away; holding him horizontal, the knee and lower leg had no friction and would just droop downwards. It was the thigh ratchet missing an internal part. Basically as long as you have two sets of ratchets clicking away in his knee you should be ok. Any lower leg wobble is just down to the general looseness of this version of the mold.

Might be worth trying to tighten the screws on the inner (lower) leg? Not sure if it will completely solve it though.

Yeah I agree. That almost looks like a custom paint job compared to the sorta flat look he has coming out of the box. I wish mine looked that good finish-wise.

I would love to get this but the price tag is a little more then I can afford right now. So hopefully this will be available next year for purchase from bbts but a little cheaper.

Here is what I did for the waist mod.
I used one of the clear rubber bands that come wrapped around his forearm.
Cut it with scissors so its not a circle.
Tucked it underneath the lip on his backside.
Pulled the 2 ends of the rubberband through to the front. If you slide his torso up, and his 2 "rib pieces" out to the sides, it'll give you the clearance you need to do this.
Made 2 knots, and done! BIG difference!:thumb

i think im going to not do anything to the waist. id certainly prefer it if it was stiffer... but the thing is growing on me. If i was going to, my plan would have been to take him with me in the car to the hardware store.. buy some plastic washers... cut a "C" them then shove it into the gap. id take him with me so that i could easily return and try different size washers

that would be my plan, but wow im to busy and it doesnt bother me that much in reality. the idea of needing to shove a .75cent washer into a $180 toy bothers me more. I got out my all my seekers yesterday.... its amazing how each one seemingly has its own little issue where randomly things dont snap togather as well as it does on previous figures

i did decide im going to strongly resist the eventual animation seekers. i just cant start over so close to the end
