I saw that South Park documentary; it explained to me why South Park hasn't been funny for like, 10 seasons
I know that opinions are supposed to be objective, but you sir, are incorrect. South Park is nearly universally acclaimed for a period of sustained excellence unmatched by most other animated (or live action) comedies.
God am I like the only non liberal that collects transformers? And yes I'm back to listening to you guys (both teams) although sometimes team two barely talk TF and it still bothers me. Any who, I have a listener question... With the recent announcement of MP V2 Megatron, plus it running around $230 which I think is ridiculous, should I just hang on to my combiner wars Megs? He has the DX9 upgrade kit and isn't directly beside my MP-10 so the slight difference in scale "perfection" is a non issue, and he looks great with my MP seekers. Heck, shockwave was too expensive for what it was if you ask me. If he were closer to that price I wouldn't think twice because he looks phenomenal. Especially the damaged bits and other extras. But ultimately he is gonna sit on a shelf and barely be messed with like most of my collection. So, guys, your opinions? I'd especially like TJ and Aaron's input. Thanks guys, keep it up.
Sorry, but I just haven't found it funny anymore. I don't really like the whole "singular season-wide storyline" thing. or that all of the episodes are just "hey what's in the new's right now" Maybe 10 seasons is an exaggeration, but it feels like such a long time.
Not sure, but I think the Nightbird that saw release by iGear might have been made by another company. IGear just got it to factory. Generally a good piece, but her stand can't keep her upright. I just use a solid metal washer instead. Weapons are a bit mix in quality, but her possibility (combined with a metal washer) make up for it. Yeah, it'd be nice if she could stand on her own & her weapons were a bit better. Still, she was designed really early on in the 3rd party scene, so she's still pretty good engineering for the time. A rerelease seems to have been made. MGT-06 Nightbird - Third Party Transforming Toys & Accessories Ming Gui/ AFT Toys Pretty sure the same people made that nifty transforming Alpha Trion Titanium Saint.
Here's how I see a Micromaster themed Generations line breaking down Titanmaster/5 dollar pricepoint: Microtrailers like Roughstuff and Erector Legends: Micromaster combiners. The 2 in vehicle guys like oiler and slide Deluxe: 4 bot Micromaster patrols Voyager: split between the bases like Ironworks and 6 bot combiner teams like Sixbuilder Leader: pretty much the same as current leaders, but with a MicroBro involved. Use characters like Star Convoy Dai Atlas, Super Megatron, and Violen Jiger Titan class Grandus.
Vangelus had the right idea. I was meaning the two member combiners that make up a front and back of a vehicle. It was the introduction of Devisiun in the IDW comics that originally got me thinking of whether the Micromaster combiners could possibly make a return. I was thinking along the same lines as Vangelus with the Legends class being the perfect size to do the combiners. I also have to agree with SG Roadbuster about the patrol teams being deluxes. And finally, powered masters at the leader size class.
