Wow Thrust looks much better there than in the other pics. Much, much better. What is up with those missiles on his arm though? I hope they both come with Null rays

Received Thundercracker from Rubadubspawn even though no tracking number was sent.

 

That's what I'd like to know as well. If there is I hope they are high quality KOs like something bb7 or Wei Jiang would do.

Question guys. How easy would it be to swap out the arm weapons on bb7/kbb coneheads for the null rays & bombs from the Takara coneheads? I don't think it would be that difficult. We're talking about a ball & socket connection. The hard part is getting a hold of those Takara weapons.

I love what BB7 has done with the non-conehead seekers. However, I like the look of Takara coneheads better than the look of the bb7 coneheads. But I don't like the prospect of paying $100 more for them.

 

Well that's a bitch!  I was really hoping that KBB would do a straight up KO of the coneheads.  I guess that leaves me and others on here who feel the same. Will have to dish out the overpriced amount to get the official TT one's. Then hope that the RJ me and others get don't have the QC issues that have been reported like floppy joints or missing parts.  Let's hope that the official TT Thrust at least doesn't have the problems that RJ had. But I guess as far as Ramjet some people on here have said that has gotten good quality ones that were issue free as well. Hit or miss I guess. The only other option would probably be to get one made by the third KO company that KO's all the way to box art identical to TT boxes. Of course with those they released a SS that was worse than the TT version of SS in regards to qc issues. And they recently did a TC as well but haven't seen the one video on youtube about that. But you can bet the qc is just as bad. If that other company even does the coneheads eventually.

 

I feel the same way. I may be forced to dish out more $$ for the Takara versions of the coneheads. I don't see bb7 coming back and doing straight up KOs of these anytime soon but I'd love to be proven wrong. There's Wei Jiang that does high quality KOs of the Takara products but they do upscaled versions.

Looks like KBB is doing the toy deco and BB7 the toon/Takara deco, same as Skywarp and Thundercracker.

 

i will go with kbb thrust then if the head is the same as bb7

 

My Thundercracker I ordered through Rubadubspawn arrived today and he is terrific, just like my BB7 Skywarp.

Waiting on BB7 Starscream now- then these guys. I think these look terrific. I don't care for the officials so I'm excited.

I will probably get Takara Thrust, and then give it a year to see if anyone KO's their Dirge or Ramjet. I waited for Ironhide, I can wait for these

 

It took about a year after MP-11T came out for BB7 and KBB KOs to arrive, so I just going to guess that we will see TT conehead KOs after Dirge arrives. If there is money to be made it will be KO'd.

 

Mine arrived today, from Rub as well. Got the dreaded USPS sorry we missed you notice. So it's off 30 miles to the "local" post office tomorrow after work. Can't wait to get Thundercracker to complete my season one cartoon accurate seekers. Bye bye Hasbro TC!

Yeah guess we will have to spend the extra money if we want the TT style coneheads but oh well. Who knows maybe someone else will come forward and make complete KO's of the TT coneheads. But I guess that is just a case where if we want them bad enough then we will just buy the TT ones. At least that is what I plan to do someday if it looks like there will be no true KO's of them. And in my case budget at the time allows when I want to go a head and get Ramjet, Thrust and Dirge. I was ready to do that with the TT versions of Starscream, Skywarp and Thundercracker until you started this thread and cued us in.  And here we are now. Saved a few hundred bucks as a result.  So all things considered could be worse. Could have gone and got all the TT and Hasbro seekers and really paid out the ass then. So getting a few official ones such as the coneheads isn't bad if you got most of the others seekers like the original three in the form of BB7 and KBB. 

 

And speaking of my earlier reference to the third KO of Thundercracker here is a video showing how bad the quality is compared to the one by BB7 and probably KBB which would more than likely still be better than Ao Feng which is the company in the video since the KBB version of SS was really good as well.

 

Can someone pls give me a little crash course on the KOs for seekers / coneheads? I like the look of these Yes Model, but never heard of them before. Are the coneheads their first, or are their other products before? It seems BB7 has the better quality?

Not fan of the changes, canopy is now orange and the knee cap extensions are gone.  

 

Love the colours on these, especially Thrust, but I really wish they had made the robot modes a bit more different from the regular MP-11 mold. Larger kneecaps (not a huge as the official ones though), the different hips the official ones have, and smaller little thrusters on the front of the lower legs.
