Nice work! I think the scale is a little off though. I tried to resize TW's to match MP-10 a little closer:

 

Get V2 bro. You won't be disappointed and if when FT comes they will look better individually posed than TW.
I'm still pissed I have the beta run on this but it's the centerpiece of my collection regardless.

I most likely will end up with both. FT won't have anything release for at least two years which gives me plenty of time to enjoy TW Devy.

 

Toy-accurate Devastator with toy-accurate Omega, No Brainer   the height seems perfect too eh

 

It's very likely FT Constructicons will end up in team pose with the rest of the Decepticons so I'm not bigly worried about the combined height. I love how big TW is but it's certainly not a requirement for a Devastator to be that fucking big. To me anyway.

 

The question that you should all be asking yourselves is- "What will Fanstoys Devastator look like?"

Oh yeah, and "Will I get my investment back on this massive TW set when I decide to switch?"

 

I surely hope no one is investing in toys.
The question is, do I think it's worth spending 600$ to have a Devastator in my collection now or save 600$ and wait two years.

 

Because of all the other comparison shots, I was under the impression that prime was a little taller. This is one of the shots I have seen.. Puts Prime a little closer to constructors crotch in height.

 

You sure that's not MPP10? He looks too close to Ultra Magnus' height to be MP-10.

It's all about product placement. Put a Mini Cooper in the right place in an ad and it could be as big as a Sherman tank or as small as a quarter.

I am thinking of getting Devastator by Toyworld, but I am not sure whether I should go for the original green or for yellow. In terms of colour does the yellow one 'wow' more or is the original green still more impressive?

 

I'm not too worried, because my plan is to keep my upgraded CW Devy in combined mode (he looks great), and have my TW and FT Constructicons in individual alt and 'bot modes. The 'bot group will be in a "team huddle" (my TW ones are posed like this now, yes I pose them with their backs to me), and the alt mode group will be building something, probably with Hoist and Grapple.

All this talk of FT Devastator is quite humorous. This is a company that has 17 (I read) current wips that releases on average 4 a year and I'm not sure that even includes the Scourge and Cyclonus silhouettes who you'd imagine would be before the Constructicons.

2020 is being VERY generous. I'll enjoy Constructor for a good few years and see what FT do if I'm still collecting by then.

 

Did Toyworld show any pics of bruticus or superion at tfcon?

 

Dailanjj already posted in the FT Omega thread that their Omega will be 55cm to the top of the head and 60cm to the top of the wings so it will be taller than TW Devastator.

Yep! Looks to be a perfect height to stand toe to toe with TW Devastator. Omega, if I remember correctly, was always shown to be just a bit taller in the cartoon.

I'm definitely interested to see FT's take on the Constructicons but TW did a pretty amazing job themselves. Outside of a few headsculpts and some questionable paint choices, they really nailed the G1 look. I still would love to see a G1 styled combiner head from them, and hoping they make those torso fillers purchasable as well.
