Humble Comics Bundle: Transformers Revolution presented by IDW (pay what you want and help charity)

 

I feel like IDW is almost shooting themselves in the foot with including all the just published Revolution stuff, but that is one heck of a deal for basically all of post Death of Optimus Prime IDW books save for issues 50-57 of both MTMTE and ex-RID.

 

Darnit, I JUST bought MTMTE volume 9!
What I need to know is- can I read the Revolution stuff if I haven't read the MTMTE stuff after vol 9? I've avoided spoilers, so don't wanna Humble Bundle myself in the foot!
I'll probably go for this tho, it's a good offer for a good cause, I nearly always get the TF bundle, even if it has overlap on what I've read, for that reason.

 

You are fine with regards to MTMTE. Their involvement is non-existent so far. Eventually the Scavengers will show up on Earth in the MTMTE Revolution one-shot, but at volume 9 you'd have seen all that is necessary with them.

It will spoil some of the events of ex-RID though and maybe Til All Are One.

 

Do I need to set up a Humble Bundle account or is it enough if I have an Amazon account. I can't use the option 'Buy now'. Help?

You'll need to sign up with them I think, since they store your library of stuff for you to dl to wherever you want.

The bundle is a no-brainer for me even if I have some of those already.

Just keep in mind that it's all or nothing... you can't split stuff up and give some of it to your friends, etc. like people do with Steam codes.

 

How does this work do you view it on their site if you buy it or can you download it to a kindle and view it with the comixology app?

 

They give you choices of pdf, cbr, and epub so you can view in a lot of apps.

 

Ok I bought it gonna download it later when I get home. Im gonna download it as a cbz file and see if it works on my kindle and store it on the sd card

 

Bought the last two IDW TF bundles. To get the newer issues I'll have to spend the full amount again. Still, it's cheaper doing that than buying them all separately.

Also, anyone got any more details about the trading cards?
I initially assumed they were digital only, but it mentions shipping.

So, I bought into the second tier of this (not much of a Joe fan) what's the reading order on this?

 

There's a good reading order stickied in the comics forum. I'm hoping to find a similar list for the Joe stuff as I've never read any of it. Anyone know where I can find one?
