Yeah, air strikers are my #1 priority, too. Whatever zone I'm raiding, I have to be able to take out mortars and beam lasers in 1 hit.

 

I have my air strikers at level 5, incl. 3 and 4 star Skydive, 4 star Stormclash, and 4 star Firefly
My 4 and 4 star Swoops are also level 5
Prowl, Jazz, Sunstreaker are all level 5 with Mirage and lower versions level 4
Don't sleep on Rodimus' ability even if you have a 2 star - the duration of the shield is the same regardless of his star level

Grimlock, Jumpstream I would also recommend leveling to 5 as they are beneficial to teams

 

What exactly does Rodimus' ability do? Does it power up a teammate, or just shield them?

 

Makes the target invunerable to damage and stuns and knockbacks.

What are the requirements for joining the TFW main alliance? Im HQ 13, 4500 power, and when I'm lazy I do 5k in events but I have gotten almost 10k before.

 

This move is a good thing for Kremzeek. Pooling all the active players into one Alliance is better than having them spread out over 3 Alliances.

All the leachers and leisure players can play on their own sweet time in another Alliance

 

If for what ever reason Kremzeek is full feel free to join TFW feeder alliance TFW2005 with one of my Alt accounts, Silverbolt81, as commander. After the event next weekend we'll shift people around as Sentinel wrote.

 

For those of you wondering if Kremzeek is full, I keep the Kremzeek thread updated with open spots. We currently have 2 spots open. Also, for the "new or truly casual", one of our officers has posted a great piece with tips in there you may want to read.

With that said, if you want a shot at the main TFW2005 alliance jump into either our alliance or the TFW secondary feeder so that you have a recorded point total for the next event.

 

So our alliance just lost a bunch of people to a higher ranked one (plus we gave a few the boot). If anyone is looking for a competitive alliance autobots4freedom is recruiting. To this point we haven't failed to get a bot or finish an event. Looking for those that want to participate in wars and week-end events.

I'm actually familiar on the topic of the G1 Prime scam. I know several affected. I believe the seller actually had decent ratings and it is in fact very easy to claim a refund in such cases. Just seems like a case of bad luck. I think unofficially that seller got busted for selling KO's but ebay gave some other reason.

Looks like another event where most people will walk away with, maybe a 2* bot, some Energon and sparks.

Why won't they bring back the 160k 4* bot events? At least that way players have an actual chance at getting a 4*.

 

I think we'll see them again. They know they're a popular event, but they can't run them all the time - it'd both be bad for them convincing people to buy crystal packs, and it'd also make weekend events a bit less special and more boring.

I think one every 2 months or so is pretty acceptable. If we don't see another one by the end of the year, however, then I'm going to start to get frustrated.

Edit: And as someone who is trying to upgrade bots special abilities, I'm not at all disappointed about the possibility to get some decent spark & energon. Granted, I'd prefer new bots, but over all, the event rewards aren't TERRIBLE. I don't see anything there that isn't pretty useful in some way or another towards advancing.

 

Finally an event worth something, I can't say I'm happy about a guy with the ability of powerglide, but the shards, the amount of sparks available, I can say I'm happy about that, if you finish this event you will get a 3 star crystal at least, have enough sparks to upgrade somebody to level 5, this is going to be a great event, oh and possibly add a 3/4 star character, I hope everyone takes advantage of this, my bet is it will be a long time before another one comes along

Fair enough IF you actually get energon or sparks in any appreciable amount. The writing says "... other prizes including Spark, Energon" meaning a chance that you'll get either one. Sorry but my faith in the chance mechanism of this game is rather low. More likely than not a lot of people will walk away from this event with a little energon or spark and a lot of lvl 1 shield and medic items. Great for low level players but hardly worth it for higher level zones.

Members of my alliance went through 20 depleted crystals in the last event and got nothing but low level inventory items. That's a bit of a slough for double experience and a handful of items. It quickly sucks the fun out of the game to grind, grind, grind for so little.

I don't expect them to have Crystal City events all the time, but if SA has no problem hosting the dreaded leader board placement events within two weeks of one another then they can, at least, do it once with the CC events.

 

According to the details on the post:

"Fiery Crystals contain the chance to unlock a 2, 3 or 4 StarHot Spot or Cyclonus, 2,000 Spark, 100,000 Energon, 100 3 Star Crystal Shards or 100 4 Star Crystal Shards!"

Now, if there are other prizes involved (10x2* shards, 2000 energon, etc.) then yes, I understand your point. It's unclear how to read the above sentence, to be honest - I was reading it as the only prizes available are the ones listed. If that's the case, then I think they're pretty decent rewards. If that's not the case, then yes, I suspect most people will end up with a bunch of crap, and maybe a bot or two at best.
