I hope he does a better score than the previous one.

 

I hope we bring back the "theme song" of the old trilogy. AOE had, IMO, one halfway memorable piece of music, which was the Auobots reuniting. If other distinct music was present it was drowned out by the action or just didn't stick like "Scorponok" did. That's such an epic, actually hype-building tune. (and I hate using that word)

 

Fantastic news. We gonna get our music sound game on point for this movie is almost icing on the cake. Yay. Hopefully we get some kind of futuristic music.

From my memory, movie 1 and 3 had the best music/theme. This is good news

Agreed. The only tracks that have really stuck with me are the 'Autobots Reunite' one, and Lockdown's theme - which, IIRC, neither of them were even on the initial score release.

 

I'm truly admire how he feels Transformers, fiery passion of battles and touching depth of interaction between heroes... He's just music genius, it's unbelievable shame that he didn't get HOF award yet 

 

I have always found Jablonsky's musical scores for the Transformers films to be the one consistent piece of quality that spans all four previous films (with only one or two tracks being unmemorable).

My favourite pieces of AoE are:

Decision
Tessa (from the EP)
Your Creators want you back (loved this theme for Lockdown)
Dinobot Charge
Leave Planet Earth Alone.

 

Not sure, I know I have Autobots Reunite from the official score, so it got added at some point.

I just hope he brings in more variety than last time. I think the AOE score didn't work as well as the others partially because he reused too many similar themes. Like, the melodies for Dinobot Charge and Decision are almost the same but at different tempos (I think...)! Oh and I like how Battle Cry was implemented into the score but damn he liked to put that song in almost EVERY scene! Too much! lol

 

Very good news to hear. The scores are one of my favorite aspects of the movies and they have some of my favorite pieces of music of all time. Awesome!

I think the scores for the films are all equally good. I also hope the TF5 score is more like the AOE score than the scores of 1-3. TLK looks like it will continue with the Knight concept and Creators introduced in AOE. It also looks like TRF is likely a continuation of Cemetery Wind. The AOE Autobots and Dinobots are returning. All things put together, it would not make sense for TLK's score to be more like 2007's score.

Do I want it to be exactly like AOE's score? No. More like it than the scores of the first three films? Absolutely.
