They recycle styrofoam these days. Apparently it\'s quite versatile.

If I recall correctly, they\'re not using \"transform\" as a verb in order not to genericize it. Other companies use it all the time, though.

Grebles! Micromaster Flak in particular does some clever stuff with the missiles just being surface detail except for the two center ones that are empty holes on the edges of the legs coming together; as though they had been fired already.

Little tank hatches sculpted in. Seats for realism even in non diaclone toys, implied vents and energy lines. Yeah its a under rated part of Transformers, but one that anyone who likes drawing, or customizing with paint to pick it out will immediately appreciate.

Really noticing it with titans return lately. Since most of them have cockpits with seats and control consoles, Wolfwire's color placement draws attention to interesting elements of the sculpt like those camera or laser cannon like things in his shoulders, and the Rows of cannons above them.

Eyyy I forgot I sent this particular question haha

Good points made about how to get rid of stuff that I'm iffy on. I'm gonna take the advice of finding other joint strengthening techniques (get some of that magical floor polish Vangelus likes) and sell for a low price as the last resort. Approaching kitbashers is also a solid idea since I've been seeing toku kitbashes a lot lately.

From what I've read, it depends on who does your recycling. Some places can recycle styrofoam, but not all.

Also, while Gearbest still has bronze tablet Soundwave in stock, you won't be able to find him via the search engine.

Xiaomi MIPAD Transformable Robot Model - Tablet Appearance-32.99 and Online Shopping | GearBest.com Mobile

They don't call him Soundwave, mention Transfomers or Takara in the listing title. Found him looking through the categories.

About the Greebly bits, I agree with what the panelists said in that it is just right for TR, but would look out of place on MPs.

That being said, one piece of greeble that REALLY annoys me is on both CW Ultra Magnus and TR Power Master Prime. The little ladder and sculpted door right behind the front wheel well is just SOOO out or proportion. With CW UM, the deluxe cars that fit on the car carrier would have drivers that would be WAY too big for that door (or the cars themselves would be the size of small homes). On OP, the titan masters are approximately human sized ( if they are similar to the G1 headmasters) and again, would NEVER be able to fit in those doors. If the truck was really proportionally large, the headlights would be the size of a human being and the tires might be 1-1.5 stories tall. I know there are construction vehicles that tall, but I don't think these are supposed to be that tall.

Greeble works and adds value to the piece, as long as they make sense.

One thing I can chime in on with greeble: My biggest figures are RID (2001) Optimus and Ultra Magnus, which have just enough little molded details that they can sometimes get a bit grimy if I don't dust em for a while. I actually had to get them a bit wet at one point to help remove a bunch of it. I prefer a smooth surface with maybe a few molded details - for me the value is in the transformation and the silhouette of the robot, not how detailed it can be.

Now that Soundwave is coming I don't know if I want CW Computron. Sorry you dislike yours so much Vangelus.

It was my impression that the dubbing over the stock footage in Cybertron was the way to make it bearable in the face of just how much stock footage it had.

Looking forward to Mugger.  I really liked Savage save one nitpick; his bio and boxart suggested he was a berserker, so unhinged even the goddamn Dinobots kept him on ice most of time.  But his face sculpt looks calm, sorta pleasent.

I agree with the idea of a Computron and a Betatron, that's been my plan for awhile. I'm gonna have the CW Computron arranged differently, so that Afterbreaker and Strafe will be legs, and Nosecone and Lightsteed will be the arms, that way he'll look visually different from UW Computron.
