So no disrespect but would you rather just Bay keep making up new TFs with shitty names like "Cogman" so all the fan favorites can be saved and float out in space forever? I don't want to see some die either but I'd at least like to see TFs with names I know. Than some random made up character.

 

That's my favorite look for her too and if they doo modify her from this concept art it'd be perfect.

Having new characters in the movies isn't really a bad thing. I mean that's how we got fan favorites in other TF series like Bulkhead,Lugnut and Lockdown from Animated and Knockout from Prime not to mention Beast Wars which is full of new characters. I like seeing past characters show up too but relaying on nothing but them can only take you so far. Bringing in brand new characters form time to time keep things fresh and odd names or not I don't mind the movies doing the same as well.

 

Seeing what Bay has done with those Bots (and many Cons) over the course of four movies, yes. The only Bots safe from Bay's hairbrained "because it'll look cool onscreen" ideas are Bee and Prime. I'm actually afraid of what he's going to do with Drift and Crosshairs. Let him concentrate on what he prefers, the humans, and let the previous movie Bots continue on their galactic roadtrip far, far away from Bay.

I think the Decepticon motorcycle may be Oil Slick. Not getting a Swindle vibe from the hippie van, but I could be wrong. Also RussianFan has hinted that the Red McLaren is Female Autobot Override. . .

 

Does anyone find it weird that Onslaught, the motorcycle con, and the Van "Swindle" are absent from the London filming? And how Barricade seems to be all alone (maybe gets help from the Mclaren) to fend off Hot Rod, Bee, and Cogman? I know they don't film in chronological order of the movie, but if the London scenes of the film are indeed the 2nd or 3rd act of the film, then does that mean the other cons have kicked the bucket or are just still in the U.S.? I just really hope Bay doesn't kill off cons that make their first cinematic appearance. He did this with Shockwave, Soundwave (on Earth, ROTF was really a cameo imo), and the Constructicons to name a few. What do you all think are up with the lack of cons in London?

Swindle is the quintessential war capitalist. He's an arms merchant first, Decepticon second. He is no Groove.

 

I guess I'm thinking back to how Swindle was a weapons dealer in G1, hence his name. The VW van to me doesn't say "swindler"; To me, it says, "hippie". . .But I'm not on Bay's design team. We'll find out several months from now. . .

 

actually, they are there. You remember that last few weeks of filming on Michigan that was subbed as England? In that few weeks, all the cons as well as all the other Autobots were filmed in Michigan (which will be part of the London filming) we just seen with Barricade, Bee, Hot Rod, McLaren and Aston Martin. I think they used Michigan and Detroit because they needed the larger roads lol. What you are seeing in London proper is just all the smaller street action that the other TFs like Hound and onslaught wouldn't be able to really fit on safely. It will all get cut together for a larger scene or 3

I'm aware, she eventually became Stinger. I'm just saying it wouldn't be too hard to modify this art into a McLaren.

 

I would honestly cry if they killed off Hot Rod in this film. Then I would know my brother would be laughing manically whilst saying "That's for 1986 Hot Rod!" So I really hope he doesn't get killed off. I mean he finally got more recognition in the media outside of the IDW comics and... a show I dislike. The last thing he ever got in terms of media from what I recall is two cameos in the Animated cartoon.
