YES!!!! Bid sniping scored me a Trash-talk for my first Tf bot!!! Perfect way to restart my TF collecting from scratch again!!

Hmm, I wonder if I should sell the gears from the set as I honestly only purchased it for the badass Swerve in the set.

I think that's just about everyone's problem with this set. I pretty much gave up on trying to sell Gears as no-one really wants him. Swerve though is amazing.
Their Tailgate is also great but again comes with a pretty polarising partner - the Cyclonus add-on set. The set really only works is you can get your hands on just the right Cyclonus mould in just the right deco. I ended up doing a complete repaint of the Generations Cyclonus and this add-on kit and it looks great, but for many it would be another "meh" inclusion.
Really hope MT continue's this series.

I think Gears is great. I get stressed messing with Swerve-- that white plastic is just begging to get discolored from over-handling. This way, I can admire Swerve and play with Gears.

If they made swerve into a single release I would definitely get him. I feel like they're missing out on a lot of customers by not doing it.

And speaking of their tailgate/Cyclonus set I wish they'd just do a full Cyclonus as I got rid of my generations toy several years ago and don't feel like tracking down a new one but I really want an IDW-accurate Cyclonus. Just some odd choices on their part.

I'm the opposite. I bought the Gears off someone because I just wasn't interested in Swerve. I'm hoping they someday do a Pipes/Huffer set, and I'll split the package with someone. I'm a sucker for a Huffer, but don't care about Pipes. Let someone more worried about getting a collection of important MtMtE characters have Pipes.

Actually I like Gears too and their Tailgate is great too, I happy I managed to find someone who only wanted the Cyclonus add-on from the set :)

Yeah. I am also just not that interested in my Gears. But love my little IDW Swerve.

As the the parts for Cyclonus - they look awesome on him. But he's still a deluxe and way too small. Also, hilariously enough, MT's Swerve and Tailgate aren't even in scale with the BiS/RtS Cyclonus. They're in scale for voyager characters and up. My Cyclonus isn't even displayed with the rest of my comic collection. No tiny dudes allowed.

Yeah. I'd love a MTMTE Pipes. Should be an "accessory" that comes with Overlord......... Lol :(

Heh, hopefully mmc will make an entire idw cast, I mean ALL of them, especially headband rodimus. If you preorder them all, you should get like $100 or 200 off of them.

Epic - thanks for sharing. :D  I visited both those sites in 1999, and I can imagine Swerve enjoying both locations ...

I'll just add my :2c:  - Maketoys' Swerve is a very good iteration of the figure. The Hasbro Generations version does have a certain smug presence that makes him fun, but putting Trash-Talk with his My First Blaster is epic. :D

And Tailgate - ! There's no comparing the Hasbro Generations version. The MT version is, IMHO, light-years better than the Generations version (ironically, I think the CW Windcharger is a brilliant retool of that Tailgate).

I can see the debate over whether to use the Cyclonus "IDW-fication" kit with MT Tailgate; I think it worked well with the Cyclonus I found, but I also like the CW Cyclonus. To each their own.

Hahaha. Yeah that's what I meant. A poor flattened version of Pipes >_< I could use a nice articulated "before" version also though! :)

Took the figure with me for my first trip of 2016, so it's only fitting I took it with me four hours away for my last trip of the year to Kure Beach, NC.

MMC is doing a CHUG scale IDW Cyclonus. It's a retool of their Lockdown.

It looks horribly inaccurate though so it's far from the best representation we could hope for.

I like MMC Cyclonus quite a bit more than IDW Cyclonus so the inaccuracy doesn't bother me but I understand the contradiction between it and the purpose of the Reformatted line.

    Yep. I'm a known hater D:

I think it looks absolutely atrocious. Need a proper MTMTE version.
