Thought that was still just a rumor. I haven't heard of ANY confirmations yet from TW.

    Ebay:
ToyWorld's been posting about it in the Constructor thread. Not a lot of detail yet, but they suggested it's MP scale and they were looking at having working treads on Brawl.

Okay so I know this is kind of last minute. But with the tfsource weekend sale going, is it worth getting sly strike given that TW Bruticus is on the way?

I dig him, if that helps. Probably my favorite of the Warbotron dudes.

I have no intentions of getting rid of my Warbo Brut, even with the announcement of TW doing a larger one.

This is still one of (if not THE) my favorite combiners.....and I currently have 51 at last count.

BBTS selling the set for $400 is very tempting. Is that a good price for this guy?

TF Source had v.2 of Air Burst, but now it looks like they've sold out of the individual figures. If you purchase the whole set at TF Source, the Air Burst is v.2.

I'm late to this party, too, evidently. Warbotron.com isn't even functioning. One wonders if they're still a company...

Got a fierce attack off of ebay and it's missing one of the little leg flaps/tabs that plug into the feet in cab mode, anyone know where I might be able to find one?

anyone have details on the shoulder mod for brawl. I recall some folks modding it to allow for greater movement, although it did require some cutting of the inside of the treads. My google-fu is failing as I can't seem to find it.

Is there any interest in a set of replacement ankle ratchets using Shapeways? I've got a set of them arriving in a few days and will post more info if they work out.

I know Killinger made some a while back but don't believe they are available any more so there may some interest for those that have broken ratchets.

So, I got the shapeways ratchet replacements in, but haven't had much time to post the details until now.

    Here they are:

    20160911_100119.jpg

It was a simple matter to take the feet apart and inserted the new ratchets. The ratchet is now very very stiff (more on that later). I put everything back together, and put him into a stance to try out the new ratchets:

So that's the good news. The bad news (if you look closely) was that between the putting in the new parts, and the stiffness of the ratchets, I managed to strip the screw holes in the feet. So I ended up drilling through the plastic there and inserting a bolt and using a nut on the other side of the ratchet to secure it. I took a close up of the modified foot as well:

But overall I'm happy with the modification. The bolt is not a big difference, and it holds rock solid now, so it's a trade off I'm willing to make.

Nice work! I attempted this myself. My v1 came out close, but if your proto is done I'd rather just buy something that's ready. I don't need another project. :)
