Hm, I suppose Marvel could do with more interesting villains, but personally, I haven't had too much of an issue with most of them. I do still think that Marvel did try to flesh them out a bit more than many of the ones in the TF movies.

I suppose it's also that because Marvel got so much right with their overall approach (imho), I'm a bit more forgiving. I really can't say the same about the Transformers movieverse, where for a good chunk of the time I was left wondering 'What the **** were they thinking?'.

So much for a reboot in the foreseeable future. I guess I won't be seeing any more tf movies in the teen. How are they going to make a movie about a character that has said 1 line in 4 movies and his characterisation can be summed up as, he is a good guy? Unless we are following more human characters who are we going to be following in these other tf movies?

I disagree, it's more like comparing a Whoper (MCU) to a White Castle burger (Bay-formers).

Again Marvel is in no way perfect but when you look at the history of Bayformers seeing that the practically begged Bay to make the film and when you see/read interviews of the previos main cast even bashing the films. What leg do Bayformer supporters have to stand on????

Nitpicking Marvel's minor flaws don't magically exonerate any of Bay's crap anyway.

Also LOL @ the guy calling the Marvel Netflix Villains forgetable Kingpin, Purpleman and The Hand have been unanimously praised by Critics and Moviegoers alike!

If you like Bays crap fine, do you! But this ongoing debate of MCU vs Bay's crap is like comparing Beethoven to Auto-tune.

If Pixar could do WALL-E a robot that barely speaks and make it work, why cant Hasbro do the same with Bumblebee, who in turn can be developed more futher in his own solo outing.

Yeah the IDW comics are way more maturer than Bays crap is IMO. H3ll the WFC and FOC games are more mature. It's in no ways "psycho" to state this but when Bayformers fans and playing damage control/PR for Bayformers it's clearly in their best interest to dismiss the distinctions of better TF lines (To them anyway).

Pfft they've done just about everything you can think of wrong with this franchise. Then they wait until they're 5 films in to decide to create a cinematic universe....yeah right after they've slaughtered most of the good characters that people care about (not that the name of said character ever really matches the source material in the first place) thus painting themselves in a corner.

More than a 3rd of the people who use to support this crap in the US have said nevermind to the last one. The odds of these films continuing to be successful as packed as Summers are moving forward aren't as great as they us to be.

We've had Revenge of the Fallen, Dark of the Moon and Age of Extinction but this is what makes you walk away?

The other ones I went into with hope for various reasons-
RotF: "I liked the first movie. I bet this will be good too."
DotM: "Well anything will be better than that last movie which totally didn't happen."
Aof: "They say they're trying something new, and some of my favorite reviewers said it was alright."

Although the last two still had the underlying feeling of, "Ah fuck it, I'm bored. Let's go see how bad the new TF movie is."

I was very close to boycotting the last movie but this year I'm sticking to my guns. If I want to review it later I'll watch it on netflix or putlocker or something.

To be fair they did blame a lot issues with ROTF on that writers strike and Bay claimed that there were vast improvements the 3 try so I took the fam to see DOTM on the strength of that. Plus Shock looked pretty cool (That and Space-Case were the last Movie-verse toy I ever purchased). But what we got was more of the same... And Shockwave was reduced to being a petty henchmen with no real value.

So Never again Paramount Stockholders! Never Again!!!
