So, I ran up against bills this month and need to sell my Intimidator, fast. He's 1st gen, 3/5ths official. Wildrider and Deadend I jury rigged the RotF cars in place. I thought I had boxes for Breakdown and Dragstrip, but apparently not? If you're interested, just PM me, there's some other specifics that I don't want to get into here. I like him, but I never mess with him and honestly he's probably the easiest of the weight to jettison.  

 

What upgrade lots are available for this set? Did the replacement dragstrip windshield ever get released?

Don't look up quarter mile kit. Look up "dmy" and you should find it. Dmy doesn't have too many search results...

Though mainly just the last couple of pages have the finished product reviews/pics. Most of the early stuff is the story of getting it into production etc. (which is still an interesting read, if you're curious on how some TFW board members went from "ideas and Shapeways prints" to "mass produced in molded plastic" parts)

 

Well, I tried everything in it. Honestly, the stuff to make Downforce look more like G1 Dragstrip didn't really do it for me, so I wound up putting most of it back in the box. Likewise, the new wrists were still ball joints and didn't seem to support his weapons any better, so they went back in the box along with the forearm filler for not-Dead End.

On the flip side, though, the new ankle ratchets were a noticeable improvement, the elbow fillers are better than the Shadow Fisher ones, the not-Menasor ab filler is the single biggest improvement you can make on the toy, the back filler for Diesel's bot mode is also quite good, and although it's a small touch I think the spoiler on not-Breakdown is a huge improvement.

If you're going to use the parts for Downforce, then it's definitely worth it. If you're not, it's on the expensive side but I'm still glad I got it.

 

Is there anyone looking to sell their intimidator? I just need a replacement dragstrip, and will go over the sale price if anyone's willing to let go of theirs.

 

Im selling mine but my dragstrip windshield is broke and gone. Mine was unfortunately assembled to tight and cracked.

 

^So I have found someone selling just Down Force, but I do appreciate the offers and help. It's nice to know that if the sale falls through I have plenty of other options.

 

Just got mine for $206 shipped. It was a lil loose But I dapped lil dude with some tlc and he's great. Love his aesthetics.

Downforce and Quadruple-U were both ebay hunts for me. Something about yellow fansproject figures seems they're the hardest to find (while avoiding scalpers anyway).
