Definitely is Cade driving, good find. The pieced together components (row of Optima batteries on the bedside, wires wrapped around the roll cage, human sized tools, etc..) are Cade characteristics that would lead to believe that this is his personal vehicle.



Car history lesson: First generation Chevy Blazer was made from 1969-1972. It featured a full fiberglass top that could be removed. Above the windshield you can see the channel the front of the top would sit on. The bed and cab are also attached (no space), so SUV. It also has a shorter wheelbase than the short bed truck for better trail maneuvering (I just put that part in there to mess with the people that want it to be Trailbreaker). Cade's Blazer has a grill that was only on the 1969 and 1970 model.

Lennox disobeys orders in all three Transformers films he's been in so far, and he did so to HELP the Autobots EVERY time!

Oh, and I'm not stating as fact what WILL happen, simply speculating about what MIGHT. Human allies of the Autobots were seen to be abused by a rogue CIA agent, Lennox was missing for an entire film after a history of insubordination, Gitmo's in Cuba, so is the production crew, and Bay's already incorporated Gitmo into a previous film.

So it's certainly a possibility that Lennox will turn out to have been detained there...and, yes, I would LOVE to see the Autobots break him out somehow!

I don't really enjoy agreeing with Hazekiah,  , but yeah Lennox has always put the Autobots first, at literally every opportunity. And, I could totally see Evil Frasier giving the order to make NEST members "disappear" while the Autobot hunt was going on. Gitmo is as good a place as any

 

Some coming close to mp quality. Jazz, Barricade, Skids come to mind, the dotm wreckers were pretty close too.

 

If he wanted them to disappear he could have just as easily had them killed and then blame it on some decepticon ambush or assault gone wrong, they were going to shoot a teenage girl after all.

 

They threatened to kill the daughter who didn't know shit while keeping the ACTUAL interrogation subject alive. No real reason to ever kill Lennox if he hadn't squealed yet.

They could have, but then that would have made writing Lennox into TF5 extremely challenging!   That's the trick with storytelling, you have to balance logical sense with, well, storytelling!

Anyway, having someone stored away that Optimus trusts must be an asset, and if there's one thing I know about EvilFrasier, he likes his assets!

 

Human alliance was a movie sub line of nine larger almost masterpiece quality versions of the movies car based Cybertronian characters that came with working interiors and 1 figure each of a human character from the movies. The human figures could ride inside in car mode and man small gun turrets in bot mode. Some figures like barricade and soundwave even came with extra figures in the form of frenzy and laserbeak.

Great line, sorely missed.

I'm just starting to worry we won't see crosshairs or drift in this one. Anyone spotted a Bugatti or corvette around the set???

 

I think they just haven't gotten around to have Drift and Crosshairs in some scenes yet because from the looks of it they aren't in this specific scene which would make sense. Also from the looks of what AOE has brought I doubt they'll try to pull the whole autobots not showing up in the sequel thing again.

 

remember they just started shooting, we aint going to see all of the vehicles just right away, if we dont see Crosshairs or Drift in the following months, then yeah they aint on it, unless they never transform and therefore cars arent needed

 

Does he really. think about it. is he helping the Autobots or is he helping himself. The Transformer are a threat to the human race and to the government it does not matter if they are Autobot or Decepticon. This is basic military strategy. Use the weaker team to kill the stronger team then kill the weaker team. Do you really think that after they got rid of all the Decepticons they would simple let the Autobots live on the planet in harmony? In the first movie at the end when Epps is concerned that their bombing run might hit Autobots what does Lennox say? "Bring the rain" Meaning he didn't care if the bombs hit Autobots as long as everybody was died. In the second movie his only concern he had was about Optimus. He would be losings the most powerful weapon he had. In the third movie he didn't have any problem hunting down and trying to kill Sentinal Prime did he.

In the military you are tough that saying "I was just following orders" is not an excuses. If an order seams faulty you should question it. Dispite what people may think the military does not want a bunch of drones. They want people that are critical thinkers and people that question things. The rules for enlisted men and officers are quite different. If an enlisted man does something wrong he will get severely punished for it but if an officer does something wrong he will get a letter of reprimand in his service record. It's more likely Lennox would have gotten a metal for disobeying orders rather then be punished.
I will give you this. Since DOTM we were told that there is a very rich and very powerful group of people that have been in league with the Decepticons since the 60's cough*Illuminati*cough it is possible they considered Lennox a threat and moved to get rid of him but still easier to kill him then in prison him.

Let me try this another way since I've actually been to Guantanamo Bay. It's a closed base. No one from Cuba has ever been inside the base and no one from the base has been to Cuba. There are land mines and armed guards on both sides of the fence. There is no way Bay will be given permission to shoot a movie inside the base and only recently have US film crews even been allowed to film in Cuba at all. It's already been said the Bay and his crew were shooting in Cuba, not on the base, and it was suppose to be a scene where it showed how the Transformers were integrating into live on earth, not shoot a major battle screen.

 

Why would you need to film inside the base? You film in Cuba to show you're in Cuba (and so you can say yay, we filmed in Cuba,) but anywhere could double as Gitmo.

 

By the way Ken Watanabe is possibly returning, could this be a confirmation of Drift's return?
