I would have been much more tempted if Scrapheap's deco was closer to his Takara scheme.

 

I'm excited for this set, if Wheelie is in Titans Return and then I get this set and my 86 Movie Autobots are complete!(except a Rodimus Prime) The deco on Hot Rod anyway looks ace. But can Hasbro seriously not screw up their official images?

 

God...I really want this set, as I love the Junkion mold, and I could always use more, but the price is the killer for me. Any chance that these things have gone on clearance? I haven't really kept up on Platinum releases.

 

even though I have the ehobby scrapheap, I kind of want that scrapheap since it is different enough. could always use more different junkions

Just ordered this set since the only junk ion I have is combiner wars wreck-gar. What is the name of the 3rd head for the junk ion from generations? Was it also scrap heap or was it junk heap? There is a third head right?

I can never remember the,mcorrectly but looking it up, Scrapheap is the one in this set while Junkheap is the second one we got at retail via the Generations line (what seemed like the last wave at the time).

 

A quick guide to the Junkion heads:

Wreck-Gar - RTS, United, Platinum

Junkheap - Generations

Scrapheap - EHobby, Platinum

All three were used in a Botcon set of Shattered Glass/Insecticon Juinkions

Interesting, might have to pick that up along with a second junk heap for a total of 4 junkions

 

I'm thinking two junkions for the medic and warrior upgrade since they're both at the same price point from toy dojo. If only they made shattered glass versions too.

 

Just ordered both upgrade kits, now it's just a matter of finding two more junkions for cheap, just got platinum wreck-gar, platinum scrapheap, and generations junkheap in today

 

Wow, that's a great price. I have both. Just keep in mind the armor that clips onto the left knee WILL strip the paint off of it.

 

Good to know. I definitely don't plan on putting them on any of the 3 I currently have but couldn't pass up $5 a piece

 

I had a total of zero Junkions until I found those sets... so glad I did.
