I did, however I didn't do the Silverbolt stickers yet since I have nonnef's antennas on my current Silverbolt and I'd rather have that one for Superion. I have a clearance Silverbolt from bbts in my POL waiting to ship with other stuff that will get stickered. I also refuse to use the stupid face stickers. I'm hoping someone like Venksta will make a Magnaboss head and sword kit....

 

That's crazy! $20 for a set of stickers that cost $5 at the show? Alright, we need a third party company to do up a proper set of stickers and a new Magnaboss head for CW Silverbolt, Prowl, and Ironhide. Let's face it, those stickers suck! That's the whole reason I didn't buy them when I was there in the first place. We can do better. We deserve better.

 

I made one, face stickers and all. I'm planning to use a couple of Reprolabel sets on Prowl, Ironhide, and Silverbolt where they don't conflict with the Botcon stickers, to add some detail and further differentiate them from their stock "neo-G1" selves. I'll have to get some pictures of them as they are now.

I believe he's thinking about it. If he decides to do it, I really hope he decides to use Silverbolt's rifle as the sword hilt (rifle barrel as the grip, shield piece as the crossguard).

 

You can get the Magnaboss stickers pretty much for free at BBTS...the catch being that you have to buy both Tigatron and Unit-3 (the stickers come with them.)

 

If you're going to do that, isn't the club store the better deal?

So you are saying it's the 6 guys who who stood in the line fault ?? It's really the clubs fault for lifting the limit also anyway you slice it the GT ppl would have gotten them all b/c they were allowed to go first and yes I was #4 in line and bought a few but hell there was only like 60 or less when they opened

 

I honestly don't know the answer to that anymore. It used to be the case, yes, but I think all rules may be off now. You might just have to have been a former member.

 

Honestly, I don't see that as being a possibility. Petitions don't have the impact that people think they do, and even granting otherwise, I simply can't see getting enough signatures to make Hasbro do such a thing.

No one's entitled to these. They're intended for convention package holders (more so, frankly, than generic "attendees," including walk-ins). Enough lasted through both Thursday and Friday that FunPub can rightly be said to have met that objective.

I'm not saying FunPub shouldn't have made more. I myself was concerned that I wouldn't be able to get mine on Friday morning after I learned how few were made, and several people I talked to were less than sympathetic to my concerns of the time, considering me foolish for choosing to spend time with my family rather than getting my figures on Thursday.

But, as I've said countless times already, FunPub has always lifted the limits on Saturday morning, and they've been left with lots of toys leftover in recent years (including toys that, I'm confident, they thought would sell out. For all the shelf-warming power of those Diaclone homages from 2015, it would be disingenuous not to admit that people have been begging for toys like those for many years now), so I refuse to fault them for lifting the limits again this year, even on a popular toy like Megatron.

 

Cool would love to see the finished results when you get it.

and yet there are morally impaired SCALPERS who deny their fellow fans the opportunity to buy a figure with 10 years of hype behind it for it's proper "retail" price. when those fans spend 2000 dollars to get to a con, but cant get there until Saturday morning because their wife couldn't get off work Friday.

 

QFT. I think people need to realize this point and come to grips that FP's decision that Sat was consistent with past Botcons. Sadly it only hurts more now that it in fact sold out and is now commanding such a high premium in the secondary market. It's worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it and I don't fault the FP or the market for dictating what the price is now.

 

Whoa cool and thank you for posting, that actually doesn't look too shabby, may have to get my nephew to apply the stickers on it, he's much better then me at doing that. Will have to get another Silverbolt too, good thing he's still cheap and available.
